Abstract: 

Since management is one of the most important issues in the present time, knowing who a competent manager is and pinpointing his characteristics makes the significance of the given subject double. The reason is that assigning responsibility to competent people is one of the important steps, that is the person who is supposed to manage a group of people should enjoy special characteristics. Reviewing the Quran results in the idea that God chose prophets based on their qualifications, and all prophets from Adam to Mohammad had the characteristics necessary for a qualified leader and manager. Therefore, the present paper intends to find the principles and features mentioned in the Quran concerning the selection of leaders and managers who provide the society with the possibility of development.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present paper was to study the relationship between job satisfaction, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior among employees of a half-private company in Hormozgan Province. Among all of the employees, (798 individuals) 150 people were selected by random stratified sampling method as research sample. The research data were collected by using the Job Descriptive Index, Organizational Commitment Questionnaire, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Questionnaire. From 150 distributed questionnaires, 147 (%98) questionnaires have been used for statistical analysis. This study, according to its nature, is a descriptive-correlational research. Descriptive statistics methods (mean and standard deviation), and inferential statistics methods (Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression and t-test) have been used for data analysis, and 0.05 % was considered as significance level. The results showed that the relationships between job satisfaction, and organizational commitment, as well as job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior, and also organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior were significant. Also there was relationship among several aspects of the three main variables of this study. Furthermore, the findings showed that job satisfaction, and organizational commitment could foresee 21 percent of organizational citizenship behavior variance, but the role of organizational commitment was higher.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present study is the pathology of the obstacles in the way of implementing research among faculty members and presenting applied strategies. The research method was applied and it was descriptive-correlational type. The population of the research consisted of all the faculty members of the Islamic Azad University, Zone 8 in the second semester of the academic year of 89-90. The number of the faculty members is 4500 reportedly. Using Morgan table, 354 faculty members were selected randomly as research sample. In order to gather data, a researcher-made questionnaire which was Likert type was used. The indexes of validity and reliability were computed following the process of piloting and the obtaine index of Chronbach’s Alpha appeared to be 0.878. In order to analyze the obtained data, descriptive and inferential statistics were applied including Pearson coefficient of correlation, T-test, Lovan test. The obtained data showed that individuals, communication, society and economics are the effective factors in promoting faculty members’ research motivation.

Abstract: 

In today's world which is the world of organizations, human resources as the largest and most important belonging and investment of organizations can be considered as an important competitive advantage for them. Organizations’ leaders and managers can let their human resources know that their jobs are meaningful, purposeful, and challenging through creating spirituality in workplace and using insight, wisdom and immaterial tools with innocent handling of human resources. This will cause growth and development for the organization. And also with the creation of workplace spirituality, they staff will feel that they are members of their organization, and the fact that they need to help each other. They will get accustomed to the organization’s goals and missions. In this atmosphere and workplace conditions, employees will become innovator and creator and will be indifferent, and will help their organization to achieve its goals. The purpose of the present article is to evaluate the impact of workplace spirituality on components of staffs' organizational citizenship behavior of Tabriz five educational zones. Therefore, the concept of organizational citizenship behaviors based on Organ and Bateman theory in five dimensions has been defined which are as follows: altruism, consciousness, sportsmanship, courtesy and civil virtue, and workplace spirituality concept based on the theory proposed by Milliman et al. In this regard, five hypotheses have been suggested. In addition, two workplace spirituality questionnaires including standardized questionnaire with 21items, and organizational citizenship behavior standard questionnaire consisting of 30 items were used to test these hypotheses. The questionnaires were administered to a sample of 182 employees after investigating the validity and reliability of the tools. After collecting the results, obtained data were classified and summarized and then descriptive and inferential statistical methods (Two variants regression) were used in order to analyze the collected data. Hypothesis test results, did not reject three hypotheses (the first, fourth, fifth hypotheses) and rejected two hypotheses (the second, third hypotheses). In other words, the results showed that the workplace spirituality has effect on components of altruism, courtesy and civil virtue of organizational citizenship behavior, while it does not have any effect on consciousness and sportsmanship of organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract: 

This study aimed to survey the status of the basis of knowledge management in Mazandaran, Gilan, Tehran, Tarbiyat Modarres and Ferdowsi Universities. The researchers surveyed the managerial, organizational culture and technical factors in this paper. This is a descriptive and cross-sectional research study. The study population includes all the members of teaching departments of selected-universities. Using a classified random sampling, the data were collected through the distribution of a questionnaire among the 390 subjects of the academic staff of selected-universities. SPSS16.0 and LISREL8.5 were used for statistical analysis. The results of research showed that there was not any problem regarding technical basis in selected universities (except Mazandaran and Gylan Universities). But, concerning the factors like, managerial and organizational culture, the results showed that all selected universities aere below the mean.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the study was to examine the effectiveness of problem solving skill on academic achievement of students. The study population consisted of all male students in first year of high school. Sample size was 40 subjects, and they were selected by a multistage random sampling method. Academic achievement test and problem solving skill test were used in order to measure variables of the research during the eight sessions (2 hours) for a month. The design of the study was quasiexperimental i.e., the pretest–posttest type with control group and follow up stage. T-test and analysis of covariance were used in order to analyze the obtained data. The results showed that the academic progress of students who had received problemsolving skills was more than academic progress of students who had not received problem-solving skills. The academic progress of students over time had a good stability.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the research was to compare the skills of instructed and uninstructed teachers in action research period in three fields of research insight, problem solving and teaching process. Consequently, there were nine hypotheses .The research method was qualitative and field study. The statistical population consisted of 33368 and 12000 of instructed and uninstructed teachers respectively in action research period in the academic year of 1387-88 at affiliated schools of Ministry of Education in Mazandaran. The research data were gathered by a questionnaire and a checklist for behavior study. For the measurement of research (scientific) insights, an attitude questionnaire of 63 items in Likert scale (strongly agree, agree, disagree, strongly disagree) was used. For the measurement of problem solving and teaching process, a sample from the behavior study checklist was used. Each tool consisted of 20 items under1 to 5 mark limits. The reliability of research (scientific) insight was 0.81; the index for checklist related to problem solving skill was 0.86, and checklist for teaching process had the index of 0.76. Data analysis was done by SPSS software at two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics. At inferential level, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to normalize the data and T-test of two independent groups and double-regression analysis were also applied. The results of the study were as follows:1) The statistical results showed that from a total numberof232 instructed teachers, 35.8% and from196 uninstructed ones 12.8% participated in teacher's research program; 2) from the total number of 232 instructed ones, 62.9% and from196 uninstructed ones, 39.3% participated in other research periods; 3) furthermore, 43.1% of the instructed group, and 21.4% of the uninstructed ones mentioned that they participated in research and scientific seminars; 4) the results showed that there was no significant difference between scientific insight, and teaching process of instructed teachers, but at the 5% error level of these two groups, there was a significant difference in action research period in comparison to problem solving skill; 5) the results also showed that there was not a significant difference between research insight, and teaching process skill of instructed and uninstructed teachers at various periods of education and their teaching background. But there is a meaningful difference between problem solving skill and various periods of education of instructed and uninstructed teachers. This difference was due to the high average of the scores of primary teachers. A significant difference was not observed between problem solving skill of instructed and uninstructed teachers with various educational background.

Abstract: 

This paper aims to delineate the dynamics of innovation and economic growth in 20 countries in OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) based on data entailing the period of 1995-2009, using group pooled technique. This theoretical model is based on Romer's studies (1990). In doing so, the researchers have employed the number of Patent index to measure the impact of innovation on economic growth. As such, the paper has investigated the casual relationship between economic growth and degree of economic openness, foreign direct investment, practitioners’ per capita income, human development, and labor separately. The result indicates that innovation has rendered a positive impact on economic growth. Moreover, it has been found that no casual relationship has not between labor and economic growth, and the degree of economic openness, foreign direct investment, practitioners per capita income have rendered a positive impact on economic growth. Furthermore, human development has rendered a negative impact on economic growth.
