Abstract: 

The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the evaluation of the present situation of (non-medical) faculty members' professional capabilities in order to promote the quality of university.  The method of research is descriptive and qualitative. The research population consists of all (non-medical) faculty members of Islamic Azad University on duty in the academic year of 1388-89. The research sample comprises 276 subjects selected through applying random interval sampling. The research tool is a researcher-made questionnaire including 53 items with obtained Chronbach's Alpha of 0.83. The research findings show that there are significant differences among nine components of faculty members' professional capabilities.

Abstract: 

The present research was performed to determine the main components of emotional intellegence & the relationship between the emotional intelligence and high schools students’ achievement as well as the differences among girls and boys regarding emotional intelligence. To achieve the mentioned goals, the standard questionnaire of Sibryashring self-assessment including 33 items was chosen to measure all students’ emotional intelligence and their final mean score obtained in the academic year of 1386-87 as their achievement. The research is descriptive of correlational type. The method of gathering data was simple and classified random sampling. The research sample was chosen out of 38 0 students using Morgan Table. The collected data were analyzed by using measures such as; mean, standard deviation, pearson correlation, t-test. Findings showed that the main components of emotional intelligence are self– motivation, self-acknowledgement, self-control, social consciousness, social skills, and that there are significant correlation between emotional intelligence and students’ achievement and there is significant difference between girls’ and boys’ emotional intelligence.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present study is to determine the degree of existence of knowledge management in education in Marand zone form the school managers' point of view.  The research method is survey type and the data gathering tool is a questionnaire.  The population consisted of all the managers of elementary school, junior high school and high schools in the Marand zone. The research sample included 190 subjects selected through applying random-interval method. The findings showed that the most degree of existence among six components of knowledge management belongs to "politics and strategies of knowledge management" and the least is related to the two components of "the system of rewarding" and " the encouragement of knowledge management". The average existence of knowledge management is 3.3. In addition, there is no difference between the managers' point of view based on their gender, age, work experience, school type and urban or rural areas regarding the knowledge management.  However, the managers who hold the degrees of B.A. and higher believe that there is a higher degree of knowledge management.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the share of emotional intelligence components in the prediction of the degree of Ilam female high school teachers' satisfaction, regarding their marriage. Out of the research population, 200 subjects were selected using the multi-steps random selection. The research tools were Bar-owen's Emotional intelligence, and Enrich's marriage satisfaction questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the components of emotional intelligence are effective in the prediction of the female teachers' marriage satisfaction in Ilam high schools.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present research is to study of the relationship between the different powers applied by the managers and the methods of dealing with conflict in the secondary and high schools in the city of Namin in the academic year of 1388-89. The method of research was descriptive and survey type. The population of the study consisted of all secondary and high school teachers, that is, 320 subjects. Using the Morgan Table, 175 subjects were chosen as research sample. The research tools were two researcher-made questionnaires of power and dealing with conflict whose validity was examined using the experts' ideas as well as reliability was tested by Cronbach's Alpha with the indexes of 0.91 and 0.89 for the questionnaires of types of management and conflict management respectively. The results of the study showed that there is a significant relationship between different types of power and the methods of dealing with conflict.  Regarding dealing with conflict, the managers apply the strategies of problem solving, lack of intervention, and control respectively.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present study was to assess the effect of information and communication technology on the management of change. The research method was descriptive and correalational. The population consisted of all the official staff of Agriculture Jihad in the Sari city, that is, 580 people. Applying the Kerjesi and Morgan table, 234 subjects selected as research sample. In order to gather data, a researcher-made questionnaire comprising 21 items was used. The content validity and the reliability of the questionnaire were tested using Cronbach's Alpha which appeared to be 0.90. To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential procedures were followed. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between communication and information technology and the change in the organization structure, change in the policy of organization and change in the staff performance.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the research is the study of the relationship between the results obtained from the continuous and final evaluation of high schools in Bousher province. The method of the research is correlational. The population consisted of all high school students in different fields of study in theoretical (Nazari) branch in the academic year of 1388-89. The research sample consisted of 3380 subjects selected through clustering sampling. In order to gather data, the data from the students' files were used. To analyze the gathered data, the descriptive and inferential statistics were applied. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the scores obtained from the continuous and final evaluations. In other words, the scores obtained from the continuous evaluation predicts up to 53% of the variance of the final evaluation. It is concluded that the continuous evaluation of students plays a determining factor in their progress regarding different grades, fields of study and courses.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present study was the comparison between faculty members and students regarding their level of familiarity with ICT and its application in very large branches of Islamic Azad Universities, Mazandaran Province. The research method was descriptive and survey type. The research population comprised faculty members and students of very large branches of Islamic Azad Universities, Mazandaran Province including 2150 and 6809 faculty members and students respectively selected based on Krijsi-Morgan Table. The research sample consisted of 384 faculty members and 327 students who were selected by applying Cluster Sampling Method. In order to gather data, two researcher-made questionnaires were administered to the research subjects. The tools were designed according to Likert Scale. The data analysis was done by applying the independent t-test, and U-test of Man-Whitney. In order to classify the level of familiarity with ICT and its application, Friedman Test was also used. According to the obtained results, level of familiarity and application of ICT as well as ICT indicator among faculty members and students are different.
