Abstract: 

شناسایی ترکیبهای متشکله اسانسها به منظور کاربرد صحیح در صنایع مختلف ازاهمیت ویژه ای برخوردار است. در این تحقیق شاخص کواتس به عنوان یک عامل مهم در شناسایی این ترکیبها محاسبه شده است. با استفاده از برنامه ریزی کامپیوتری Statgraph معادله درجه سوم براساس زمان بازداری هیدروکربنها به دست آمد با قراردادن زمان بازداری 565 ترکیب مجهول در معادله درجه سوم، شاخص ثابت کواتس (Kovats index) به دست می آید. این شاخص در تایید شناسایی ترکیبهایی که با دستگاه GC & GC/MS مورد آنالیز قرار می گیرد از کارآیی بالایی برخوردار است و در بسیاری موارد بدون استفاده از این شاخص نمی توان به شناسایی دقیق ترکیب شیمیایی دست یافت.

Regarding the fact that Aromatic Plants play important roles in Human life, researching on them seems significant: as Aromatic plants are extensively wide spread in our country we have restricted our research on Genus, and Special Province. We have studied Mentha, thymus, and Nepeta in Tehran Province.At first we have read the Ecncyc1opedis, Thesis, Manual and other books and then searches computer programs in order to find other information about this 3 Genus. Then we went to nature and registed ecological factor as follow: Genus, Species, Locality, Locality, high, slopes, soil, another plant.

Abstract: 

The composition of the oils from flowers of three Iranian Achillea species (A albicaulis C.AMey, A biberseinii, Afilipendula Lam.) were collected during the flowering period. The essential oils obtaned by steam distillation. The percentage of all three oils was 0.20% v/w calculated on the dry weight analyzed by GC and GC/MS, all three oils consisted mainly of monoterpenes. The major constituents of Aalbicaulis C.AMey were y-Muurolene (13.29%), a-Pinene (9.99%), Camphor (9.35%), p-Cymene (8.48%), and trans-Carveol (8.41%), and Abibersheinii were Piperitone (45.92%), 1,8-Cineole (17.64%), limonene (5.63%) and p-Cymene (5.17%), Afilipendula Lam were limonene (26.70%), carvacrol (9.26), 1.8-Cineole (8.66%), borneol (7.82%) and Germacrene D (5.62%).

Abstract: 

Jashir is the persian name for prangos femlacea (L.) belonging to the family of Umbelliferae. It is widely distributed all over the mountainous regions of Iran where it is used as a fodder. The fruit oils of P. femlacea have been the subject of previous study.In this study, the oils obtained by steam distillation of aerial parts and seed of Prangos femlacea (L.) were investigated by a combination of GC and GC/MS. More than 30 compounds in the aerial parts oil, and about 20 compounds in. the seed oil have been identified. The main constituents of the oil of aerial parts were b- Pinene (22.9%) and d-3 carene (16.0%), whereas the seed b-Pinene (33.0%) and a- Pinene (10.1%).

Abstract: 

Effects of six levels of nitrogenous fertilizers (urea) on yield and total alkaloids content in different Organs of Physalis alkekengi were investigated. All experiments were performed at Medicinal Plants Research Station a branch of Yazd Province Research Center for Natural Resources and Animal Husbandry.Experiments were designed as a completely randomized blocks. Six levels of urea fertilizer namely, 0, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 kg/ha with three replicates were applied to the soil.Upto a certain level, there was a positive correlation between the amount of Napplied and the plants yield (leaves, stems and roots). The correlation between urea application and plants canopy and height was also positive.Whereas the highest plant yield was obtained with 150 kg urea/ha the maximum plant height was achieved with the application of 100 kg urea/ha. Any increase in the amount of N-fertilizer beyond 150 kg/ha had an adverse effect on plant yields.The total alkaloids content in leaves, fruits and roots were determined by yanevan method.Increasing the amount of urea resulted in an increase in total alkaloid content of leaves, fruits and roots.Application of urea at a rate of 100, 150 and 200 kg/ha caused the highest increase in total alkaloids. Since there was no significant difference (a= 0.01) among the means of alkaloids produced in these treatments, it was concluded that the highest alkaloids will be obtained by application of urea at a rate of 150 kg/ha.Increasing the amount of urea did not affect the rate of root expansion significantly. However, root depth decreased in response to urea application. The highest root depth was obtained in control (no urea) plants. This is in agreement that N-Fertilizers will mostly increase the amount of shoot rather than root system.

Vitex Pseudo - negundo is one of the medicinal plants, characteristic, together with oleander and temarisk, of the brushwood of some river in southern Iran. The plant has an agreeable and spicy fragrance particulary during flowering stage.Some therapeutics effects like: antibacterial activity of some components of essential oil, anti-androgenic action of aucubin and casticin and hormmone-like activity of iridoids and ecdysteroids is reported for this plant.As part of continuing studies of essential oil from medicinal plants, we report in this paper the chemical composition of essential oil which is obtained by hydrodistillation and steam-distillation from leaves and fruits of vitex sp. and identified by Gc\Ms.
