Iran's success in knowledge generation partly depends on organizational citizenship behaviors of universities' faculty members. Although a considerable number of studies have worked on OCB, little attention has been paid to educational settings. Taking advantage of qualitative research semi-structured interview, 22 faculty members have been interviewed. Theme analysis of the interviews has resulted in different themes which can be categorized in five areas: executive, social, educational, research and student affairs in three levels (individual, collegial and university level).
