Abstract: 

Iran's success in knowledge generation partly depends on organizational citizenship behaviors of universities' faculty members. Although a considerable number of studies have worked on OCB, little attention has been paid to educational settings. Taking advantage of qualitative research semi-structured interview, 22 faculty members have been interviewed. Theme analysis of the interviews has resulted in different themes which can be categorized in five areas: executive, social, educational, research and student affairs in three levels (individual, collegial and university level).

Abstract: 

There are several multi-dimensional constructs in management literature for which scholars have not determined the relation between the construct and its dimension. This article aims at introducing different kinds of multi-dimensional constructs and explaining their various relations with the corresponding dimensions. In planning a research, not only the theoretical relation between multi-dimensional construct and its dimensions but also the relation between dimensions and indictors need to be taken into account. Failure to recognize the relation between dimensions and indictors will give rise to an increase in measurement error in verification of the construct. This paper offers different models of the relation between dimensions and indictors and also expresses a variety of multi-dimensional constructs verification methods based on their type.

Abstract: 

To avoid customer churn it is important for organizations to analyze their customers' behaviors and needs. In this paper attitudes leading to customer churn in a mobile operator are investigated. Logistic Regression Analysis is applied to analyze profile data of 3150 registered users of a mobile operator in Iran. Results show that customer complaint number, the extent of service use, and demographic characteristics of users are the most important factors affecting customer churn. Moreover, results of hierarchical regression analysis show that customer status (active or inactive) plays a mediating role between customer churn and customer profile.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of this research is to identify and rank the factors affecting knowledge-workers' empowerment. Knowledge-workers' empowerment is considered as dependent variable and independent variables are specified in five categories: knowledge-workers' profile, job nature, leadership style, organizational culture, and organizational structure. A sample of 202 knowledge-workers has been studied. Multiple regression, factor analysis, and structural equations analysis were used and findings show that knowledge-workers' empowerment is affected by all the five mentioned determinants.

Abstract: 

This paper specifies and prioritizes factors and variables affecting knowledge management and develops a Knowledge Management maturity model. The developed model has a practical application and shows weaknesses and strengths of a particular organization in comparison with ideal and desirable position in each variable.Using a questionnaire, extracted factors and variables were confirmed and then prioritized by experts. Binomial test, Friedman, chi square and weight mean test were used to analyze the gathered data. At the end the model was tested in two organizations.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of this article is to study the relation between psychological empowerment factors and employees' performance in Iran's auto part industry. Using a Delphi technique, determinants of psychological empowerment and employees' performance were identified. Factor analysis and structural equations were then applied to study the relation between the identified factors. Finally a domestic model was provided to help improve employees' Performance.
