Chiropractic, or simply manipulation of spine, is one of the popular treatments for low back and neck pains. However, researches' findings showed that after a cut in treatment for a short time, the diorders syndrome will reoccur in patiants with moskoskelital pains. Thus, recently, professionals in health psychology have considered behavior, cognitive and cognitive-behavioral psychoanalytic techniques as optimal alternatives for treatment of the patiants with histories of psychosomatic disorders. Therefore, the main purpose of current research was to examine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral family therapy on treatment of patients with musculoskeletal pain (low back pain & neck pain). So, using a single- subject design (Type A-B), 5 patients who sufered from muskoskelital pains and referred to a nongovernmental chiropractic clinic were selected. They received cognitive-behavioral family therapy accompanied with chiropractic precedures. The results confirmed the effectiveness ofthe abovementioned combined therapy. One of the probable reasons for effectiveness of mentioned therapy approach was its ability in adjusting patiants' spine having back and neck pain, and at the same time, recognizing basic psychologic causes for those pains and removing the causes by cognitive behavioral psychotherapy method. Finally, congruency and inconsistency of the findings with the previous researches are discussed. Findings' repugnance or confirmation with other research are discussed and some suggestions provided.
