Mahdism, which has always been a key to faith doctrine and identity of Shiism during centuries and eras, is considered to be the sole way before modern human to achieve salvation in the tumultuous society of today. The community and government of Islamic Iran which has identified knowing the Imam of the time as a key responsibility and waiting as a superior act, attempts to set the scene for the appearance of the only righteous reformer and leader to realise true equality on Earth. In this way, the awaiting society and government should set a good example for perplexed people on Earth to vitalise the hope of waiting people for appearance of the saviour (today known as Mahdism Doctrine). Mahdism Doctrine teachings are based on a global belief system with Mahdi as a pivot. It contains fundamental strategies for human life to achieve an ideal society with reformist people and leader. Considering the cultural nature of Islamic revolution that put the positive waiting and setting the scene for appearance on the government agenda from its early days, this paper also attempts to address the underlying cultural strategies for ground-setting community and government based on SWOT model (strength, weakness, opportunities, threats). Therefore, firstly cultural coordinates of Mahdavi society from the perspective of verses and hadith (post- emergence community) will be expressed. Then the strength, weakness, opportunities, threats are considered in an Iranian context where analysis of ins and outs explain the current culture of Mahdism in the nation. Then, strategies will be proposed at macro-cultural level in four areas (strategies of SO, ST, WO, WT) to achieve the desired awaiting society. the strategies will be rated based on attraction and amongst 25 strategies, 15 highly rated (above average) starategies will be chosen. Finally, the article concludes with suggestions for future research to be completed.
