Parables, which include intellectual, ideological, and spiritual issues, are more or less utilized in different sources, especially in the Holy Quran, to convey the intended messages because passing of time makes a parable transparent in meaning and leaves no doubt about it–so much so that proper utilization of a parable leaves a deep impact on the audience and leads to changes in their behavior and emotions. They can also be utilized in the treatment process of mental and emotional diseases.
