This study was aimed to compare the effectiveness of rational, behavioral and emotive therapy (R. E. B. T) and person-centered therapy (P. C. T) in the symptom improvement of students diagnosed with suffering from aggression, depression and anxiety. All third grade physics-math students studying in Saghez were considered as the population under study, 205 of them were selected through classified random sampling method for aggression, depression and Anxiety. From those diagnosed with SCL-90-R test, 90 subjects were randomly assigned to three groups (30 subjects in each Group), and then 30 “healthy students” were randomly selected and assigned to the control group. Therefore, four groups formed PCT group, REBT group, and control group. The employed recovery indices were the Subjects of aggression, depression and Anxiety, which were measured twice before and after Interventions of SCL-90-R scale. The results showed that REBT and PCT were effective in the reduction of Anxiety, depression and aggression.

The present research has set the following objectives: to determine the intensity rate of the stress sources and the relation between the source and kind of stress which has been reported by the students of Roudehen Azad University with regard to their demography factors. Therefore 650 students who had been selected through random sampling were tested by the stress assessment inventory. The results revealed that the sources of the stress reported by scholars are ordered as family ties and interpersonal connections, career, personal, educational and environmental situations. The reported stress by female students proved greater than the male ones in all the cases. The results also demonstrated that the stress caused by interpersonal and family relationship, personal and career situation would decrease as one grows older. Moreover, single students would experience higher stress level than the married ones regarding the family, interpersonal relationship and career situation.

The present research is to find the relation between the emotional intelligence of casualty ward's nurses of Tehran's hospitals and their job involvement. Therefore 230 nurses were selected through random sampling and tested. The analysis indicated that emotional intelligence and nurses’ job involvement are significantly correlated to one another. Furthermore, there's the possibility to construct and present a model in order to predict the job involvement variable based on the emotional intelligence criteria (self awareness, social self awareness, self management and relation management).

The present research has been carried out to investigate PTSD's symptoms’ intensity in two addicted and non-addicted groups. Accordingly, 174 men with 15 to 50 percent of disability were selected and tested. The results produced that the stated groups differed considerably on PTSD's different factors of intensity. Furthermore, addiction would increase the intensity and frequency of PTSD’s factors, disorders in one's social performance and his/her potential threat for others' health in recent week or month.

The aim of the present research was to study the impact of family environment on children's neurotic tendencies. Therefore 70 female students were chosen through the availability mode among from psychology and counseling students of different universities in Tehran province and were then tested by family environment and neurotic personality inventories. The results suggested that there's negative meaningful correlation between children’s psychotic tendencies and family expressiveness and consistency whereas psychotic tendencies and family conflict are meaningfully, positively related to one another. Additionally, there's meaningful positive correlation between children’s psychotic tendencies and achievement centeredness with regard to personal family growth.

The research purpose is to investigate the relation between family affective atmosphere, self concept, self esteem and socioeconomic status and the establishment of young individuals’ identity. Therefore 156 examiners were selected through random sampling in 3 lower, middle and upper socioeconomic status among from young individuals of Islam Shahr province and were then tested. The results revealed that those benefiting from congenial family atmosphere, positive self concept, high self esteem, and upper socioeconomic status proved to be better than the others concerning the establishment of the identity. It was also revealed that one's gender and being a student or not has no impact on the establishment of individuals’ identity and identity establishing would increase as one grows older.

The purpose of the present research is to find the barriers and challenges to utilizing the research finding in guidance and counseling in executive associations particularly counseling centers. Therefore among from counselors and social workers working in counseling centers and social working clinics of Tehran 135 individuals were selected through random sampling and tested. The results demonstrated that counselors and social workers have chosen psychological, organizational and humane factors as the most effective and major barriers to utilizing the research findings in counseling. Moreover, the findings indicated that education, career background and research conducting precedent are significantly correlated to one another.

The research purpose is to investigate the impact of group logotherapy on the women's health improvement. Therefore 25 women among from Tehran's 22nd region were selected through availability mode and underwent the treatment. The research findings proved the impact of logotherapy on women's general health and also the reduction in depression and anxiety.
