Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between mother acceptance-rejection and personality traits in students of Shahid Chamran University. 318 students (147 males and 171 females) were selected through clustral multistage random sampling. Adult Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire (Mother form) and NEO Five-Factor Inventory were used to collect data. For analysing data, canonical correlation was used. Structural coefficients showed that the pattern of high scores in mother’s acceptance and low scores in mother’s rejection correlates with the pattern of high scores in conscientiousness, agreeableness, extravesion and low scores in neuroticism. Therefore, the finding of this research showed that the combination of mother’s acceptance and mother’s rejection can probably promotion conscientiousness, agreeableness, extravesion and neuroticism.

Research population included all the employees of 19 areas of education office in Tehran, Spring 1392, which from among them, 269 people were chosen based on convenience sampling method. Research instruments consisted of Perceived Organizational Support Questionnaire (Eisenberger et al., 1986), Perceived Job Stress Questionnaire (Jex & Spector, 1998) and Deviant Behavior Questionnaire regarding organization and employees (Robinson & Bennett, 2000). Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The method research of the current study was correlation and 377 female students of Islamic Azad university of Ardabil were selected by multistage cluster sampling and filled Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory, Psychological Signs Questionnaire and Procrastination Scale. Pierson correlation and multivariate regression were used for analyzing the data. Results indicated that there was meaningful correlation between symptoms of schizoid, schizotypal, antisocial, histrionic, borderline, avoidant, dependent, depressive, sadistic and passive-aggressive personality disorders with procrastination. Also, there was meaningful correlation between symptoms of narcissistic, borderline, avoidant, dependent, depressive, sadistic and passive-aggressive personality disorders with academic self-confidence. According to results of stepwise regression, symptoms of personality disorders has been explained 24% variance in procrastination and 11% variance in academic self-confidence (p<0.01). Results are support the relationship between personality disorders symptoms with procrastination and academic self-confidence in female college students and it should be seriously noted to the role of personality disorders in variables that related to health in female students.

From the classes of those three schools, forty students were reported as aggressive students by the school’s authorities, and from these forty students, thirty students were identified as having aggression behavior according to the aggression questionnaire (AGQ), and also recognition criteria of DSM-IV-TR. These thirty students were divided into test group and control group. For the test group twelve sessions (each session 90 minutes) of theater therapy were held. The control group did not receive any theater therapy; they took only pre-test and post-test about aggressive behavior. At the end, the two groups were compared. After one month, the consistency of the test was conducted for the two groups. Statistical analysis showed the aggressive behavior of the test group was remarkably less than the control group.
