Abstract: 

The objective of this study was to explore the effect of play therapy, cognitive approaches-behavioral Mayknbam reduce shyness and social withdrawal of school children was conducted. For this purpose, 50 male and female students in the geographic range Abhar city in the academic year 2011. The participants were enrolled through using random sampling method and the implementation a check list of shyness among the students identified as and were chosen to test and control groups (each group included 25 patients) groups. Method study with experimental pretest posttest control group. Check list shyness as a research tool behavior before and after implementation of the independent variable (play therapy-treatment) was performed and then the data obtained using SPSS software using descriptive statistics and t-tests were used. The results showed that experimental group subjects shyness score significantly lower than control group subjects. They also shyness scores less than pre-test scores, change and showed no significant difference. Thus behavioral play-therapy on reducing shyness Mayknbam school children have been effective.

Abstract: 

This study was to examine the effect of Art (Play, Story telling and Painting) therapy on self-conceptual confirmation and happiness among the children examined by The Center of Counseling and Treatment of Ahvaz. Sample included 30 participants who were chosen through simple random sampling method and divided into two groups of experimental and control each comprised of 15 children. Instruments included CAST, Cscs and the Questionnaire of Children Happiness (Oxford). The research design was experimental and there were 10 treatment sessions each lasted 90 minutes. Results of MANOVA showed that Art (Play, Story telling and Painting) therapy had an impact on self-conceptual confirmation and happiness among the children in the experimental group rather than the control one.

Abstract: 

In this research the relationship between emotional intelligence and depression was studied. To this purpose 317 (275 female and 42 male) undergraduate psychology students of Islamic Azad University, Tehran Branch were assessed using Beck's depression test and emotional intelligence questionnaire. The results of multiple Regression Analysis showed that assertiveness, reality testing and also emotional self awerness are impotantant predictors of depression.

Abstract: 

The aim of current study was to compare the Alexithymia and emotional inttlligence between male and female of students of Islamic Azad University, Ahvaz Baruch. 400 students including 185 femeles and 215 males were selected through stratified random sampling and were assessed using Ahwaz Alexithymia Scale (AAS-26) and Petrids and Furnham Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire. In order to analysis the data, Multivariate analysis of Variance (MANOVA) and independent samples t-test in meaningful level (p<0.001). The results showed that there was signifcant difference between males and females in the Alexithymia and emotional intelligence. In the emotional intelligence females and in the Alexithymia boys was higher.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of neuro -linguistic programming on the depression reduction of the accounting students studying in Shahrekord Islamic Azad University. Four hundred accounting students out of 1400 were randomly required (through cluster sampling) to answer Beck’s Depression inventory (BDI). Then, 52 students scoring higher than 20 were randomly selected and placed in 4 Experimental and Control groups. The Design of the study was pre-test post-test with control groups. Experimental groups were exposed to 8 sessions of neuro-linguistic programming while the subjects in control groups received no treatment at all. The results suggested that Firstly: the co Variance (F=9.723, α<.001) showed that neuro-linguistic programming had a significant effect on the subjects in experimental groups. Secondly, running the CoVariance (F=12.042, α=.002) indicated that the independent variable ,i.e. neuro-linguistic programming did have effect on male students. Thirdly, neuro-linguistic programming proved to be effective on female students with Co Variance (F=18.398, α<.001). Since there is a direct relationship between this program and the daily life, it is supposed-through changing in one’s living procedures, his attitude towards life, and people understanding–to make a difference. Because of its practical, applied, simple, and understandable principles, neuro–linguistic programming has been able to reduce the students’ depression.

Abstract: 

The aim of current research was to review the relationships of personality traits, attachment styles with forgiveness among national oil company staffs. The statistical sample were 385 persons of national oil company saffs. Data tools collectad were included questionnaire personality traits NEO-PIR, questionnaire attachment style symptoms, forgiveness of scale interpersonal (IFI). This research was form solidarity type. Data of analysis was done through slolidarity of method peirson and regrison, multi-variables at the level p<0.05 indicate that there was negative relation between neurotidism with forgiveness. There was positive relationship between individual traits (exteraversion, openness and experienece, agrreableness and eonscientiouness) with forgiveness. There was positive relationship between secure of attachment style with forgiveness. There was negative relationship between avoidant attachment style and amoivalent with forgiveness. There was multiple relationship between personality traits and attachment styles with forgiveness of variance. Variables of neurotidism, avoidant attachment style, agreeableness, amoivalent attachment style, secure attachment style and exteraversion are best forgiveness predictor.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was to study of relationship between metacognition, perfectionism and self-efficacy, with perceived stress in the students of Azad Ahvaz University. The sample of this research contained 380 individulas that they were selected based on stratified random sampleing for male and female students of Azad Ahvaz University. Metacognition, perfectionism, self-efficacy and perceived stress inventories were used for data collecting. The present research was correlational type and the results of data analyesd by using person correlation factor and multivariable regression in meaningful level (p>0.0001). The results showed that there was meaningful negative relationship between metacognition and perceived stress. There was not meaningful relationship between perfectionism and perceived stress. There was also meaningful negative relationship between self-efficacy and perceived stress. Findings were showed that there was meaningful multiple relationship between metacognition, perfectionism and self-efficacy, with perceived stress. Regression analysed showed that self-efficacy were predictive with perceived stress. But metacognition and perfectionism did not play any role in perceived stress.

Abstract: 

The aim of the present study is to determine of relationship personality disorders with psychological symptoms and academic self-efficacy in student. The research sample consisted of 765 who were selected from among the students of Islamic Azad University Ardabil Branchthrough the random clustered method, and filled Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory, Brief Psychological Symptoms Inventory and Academic Self-efficacy Scale. Data was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analyses. Results indicated that prevalence of personality disorders was 19.5% in all, 20.9% in women and 19.9% in men students. The results of Pearson correlation coefficient indicated that there was meaningful correlation between personality disorders with psychological symptoms and academic self-efficacy. The results of multiple regression showed that disorders were explain 48 percent the variance in psychological symptoms and 16 percent the variance in academic self-efficacy (p<0.01). Results are support the prevalence of personality disorders and meaningful relationship between these disorders with psychological symptoms and academic self-efficacy in students. These Results have important implications about prevention and therapy of students with personality disorders.
