Abstract: 

Organizational justice refers to staff’s realization and perception of the rate of justice and equality of manners and job affairs. OCB (organizational citizenship behavior) aims to help colleagues or organizations via a person which is not stated in job description but leads to efficiency. The sample included 197 staff members selected by randomization. The research was of descriptive-correlational type. The data were analyzed using correlation and stepwise regression. Results indicated that there was a significant correlation between organizational justice - distributional, procedural, and communicative – and that of OCB components. Considering this relationship, attention to organizational justice to increase staff’s OCB is crucial.

Abstract: 

This Paper seeks to depict relationship between environmental architecture quality and users’ mental health. Despite all modern findings, there are many factors threatening human beings’ health especially mental health. The shelter environment made by human beings themselves can be a threatening factor. In this study, analyzing relationship between environmental architecture and mental health, some criteria have been developed to measure environmental architecture quality and a researcher made questionnaire namely “environmental architecture satisfaction scale” was designed. Through this questionnaire, qualitative criteria were converted to quantitative ones and using correlation analysis a model was created to be compared to international standard questionnaires scores such as general health measurement questionnaire. Findings indicated a significant correlation. It can be concluded that increasing environmental architecture quality can improve general health especially mental health.

Abstract: 

The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between Knowledge management and organizational intelligence among of educational administrators of the West and Southwest cities of Tehran Province. Descriptive-correlational study was conducted. The population under study consisted of all the 356 educational administrators of these regions. Using Stratified sampling, 185 educational Administrators were selected as the sample in the study. To collect data, the researcher used the questionnaires by Albrecht (2002) organizational intelligence, and Zarehkhalili’s (2010) knowledge management. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by the experts in the field. The reliability of the questionnaire was measured using Cronbach’s alpha. It showed that the reliability of organizational intelligence was 0.94, and knowledge management was 0.87. To analysis the data, the researcher used descriptive method of investigation as well as inferential methods (such as Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise Regression). The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between knowledge management and its components - Knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, and knowledge application - and that of organizational intelligence. Regression results show that knowledge management components - knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, and knowledge application - can predict organizational intelligence among the educational administrators in the West and Southwest cities of Tehran Province.

Abstract: 

30 elderly, aged above 60 were selected randomly from among old people in Tehran and were assigned into two 15-member groups of experimental and control. The research method was semi-experimental pretest- posttest. The two variables were measured using Russell and Ferguson’s (1987) solitude scale and Oxford’s happiness scale. Then, treatment programs were administered to the experimental group for ten sessions. After treatment, the group was post-tested and the data were analyzed using ANCOVA. Results indicated that laughter therapy and physical activities had significant effects on feeling of solitude and more on happiness. Results suggest that these variables influence feeling of solitude and happiness by creating changes in body’s physiological aspects and cognitive processes.

Abstract: 

This study sought to compare active learning attitude in girls’ general high schools and high schools for the gifted girls in Karaj city within 1391 – 1392. The statistical population of the research included all girls’ high schools of Karaj. Based on Morgan’s table, the sample consisted of 380 students. The research was of descriptive – survey type. To analyze data, independent groups T-test and Friedman’s test were used. A researcher made Likert-type questionnaire (based on David Silberman’s active learning attitude) consisting of 8 components and 26 items was used. Face and content validity was confirmed by experts and the reliability was 0.75 based on Chronbach’s alpha. Results indicated that, from among 8 components of active learning, instructional setting variety, group participation opportunity, benefiting from learners’ profession, knowledge impartment, real problem solving, and association between new and previous learned materials did not create significant differences between two high school types. The component of “teaching content depth” was higher in high schools for the gifted and the balance rate among three domains of affection, cognition and behavior was higher in general high schools than high schools for the gifted.

Abstract: 

Mal-reading is closely linked to language features, so, to diagnose it, these features should be considered. The method of the research was testing. The statistical population included second and third grade public primary school students of Ahvaz within 1392-93, from among whom 400 students were chosen as the sample using cluster sampling method. The special sample for post-testing included 160 students chosen randomly from the primary sample. The instrument was an informal reading test and to analyze data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Findings indicated that Chronbach’s alpha for grade 2 was 0.90 (boys) and 0.73 (girls); for grade 3 it was 0.89 (boys) and 0.74 (girls). In post-testing, correlation co-efficient for grade 2 was 0.99 (boys) and 0.88 (girls) and for grade 3 it was 0.98 (boys) and 0.98 (girls) which was significant at 0.01 level. Validity of the test, based on factor analysis consisting of 8 factors, was calculated for grade 2 to be 0.67 (boys’ variance) and 0.62 (girls’ variance); for grade 3 it was 0.61 (boys’ variance) and 0.66 (girls’ variance). The present test was assumed to have good construct validity.

Abstract: 

This Study sought to examine the effect of staff’s personality features on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in Tehran. It aimed to investigate correlation between personality features (dutifulness, extroversion, depression, adaptation and sociability) and OCB; and to determine the type of mathematical function of this correlation and its ideal point if existing. The population included Economic and Assets Affairs Ministry’s staff (205) from among whom 112 members were chosen as the sample based on stratified random sampling. The data gathering instrument was 2-part questionnaire including 5 dimensions of personality features (based on Padsakov’s model). The present questionnaire was verified in respect to validity and reliability. To analyze data, non-linear regression test was used. Results indicated that there were correlations among all personality features and OCB. From among 5 features of personality, sociability, adaptation, dutifulness, depression, and extroversion had respectively the highest effect on OCB among the above-mentioned staff.

Abstract: 

This study sought to examine the effect of women’s employment on family through comparison of education and automobile industry employees. The research was of descriptive-survey type and to collect data, standard questionnaires were used to measure mental health and marital satisfaction. Children’s educational status was also determined through their GPAs. Two 50-member sample groups were extracted from the population under study. The same number of unemployed women citizens was randomly chosen as the control group. Results indicated that, in respect to general health and marital satisfaction, unemployed women had a better condition and had a significant difference with both employed groups. In regard to children’s educational status, women employed in education stood first and had a significant difference with employees in industry.
