The admeasure of indicators allows to organization for understanding the current situation for planning, and targeted its activities in order to improve these indicators. In the absence of science and technology’s indicators, there are no logical basis for environmental analysis and understanding of the organization`s situation, and allocating resources and planning will not be correct. The aim of this study is to determine the dimensions and indicators of macro-assessment of science and technology in the military organizations. The study is based on achievement or result based approach used the applied and developed method, and research methodology was historical context. The statistical community consisted about 250 people; among them 32 people were in-depth interviews. In this study, for collecting and analyzing data, we used documents and interviews methods of in-depth qualitative approach by using grounded (Grounded Theory).For data analysis we used descriptive statistics and inductive content analysis. Based on the results of this research, science and technology in the military organization need to assessment in nine dimensions and we are provided some indicators for each dimension. These dimensions are the human capital, education, scientific publications, structure, research, technology, scientific cooperation, financial resources and effectiveness.

The soft power play a potential role in boosting country's social capital. The main question is that what is the social capital effect in the soft power. The research method has been survey method and the statistical sample consisted 177 professors from Iran`s Army universities. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire and using SPSS for analyzing. For evaluating the reliability of the questionnaire we used Cronbach's alpha and for the validity used the factitious validity. The correlation between independent variables and the dependent variable was analyzed by using Pearson' s test. For assess the empirical model we used multiple regression analysis.The results of this study show that there are the meaningful relationship between the social capital and soft power, so that a correlation between social trust and soft power is (0.21), social norms and soft power (0.27) and community involvement to the degree of soft power (0.53). The results of regression analysis show that all of the components regression coefficients are positive and there are a positive relationship between social capital components and soft power aspects.

This essay tries to answer the question that, what is the supreme leader`s perspective about threats? We try to identify important factors to consider the threat.Type of research is descriptive and content analysis method is used according to the measures and decrees of the Supreme Leader. The results of the study suggest that identifying threats from the Supreme Leader`s perspective have both inner and outer area. The inner area is divided to the individual and organizational aspects and the outer area is divided to regional and international dimensions.Individual components consist from should and not should and recognition, and organizational components consist from the priorities and the possibilities (capacity).In regional area, we saw regional issues and the inseparably of clever and wise vision to abroad and in international area we found arrogance recognition, contemplation in realities and the global capabilities consist components forming the outer dimensions. The focal point and centerpiece of all these factors and important indicator is knowing that the Supreme Leader' s emphasis on this subject especially in the field of internal and organizational knowledge and then, recognizing the individual.

Comprehensive defense consist the all defense aspects of the country. In the meantime, one important component of national power is economic power and the economic strength enhance the country's strength in the international and regional issues. The economic defense with elements of deterrence, power and economic empowerment deal, lead to establish a strong foundation to withstand the external shocks for dealing with enemy's economic assaults. The research done by using a set of statements and documents issued by the Supreme Leader in the field of resistance and national economy (community sample) grounded by the pattern of economic defense. The economic defense strategies require their perspective include support for national production, people-based economic expansion, the growth of productivity, self-sufficiency, knowledge-based economy and the development of export deals and correlation methods. We used questionnaires and gathered data form experts (20 people) with the impact of economic factors on the overall defense. Then, we discussed and analyzed received data and the amount of correlation coefficient (60%) between power increase accountability and comprehensive defense against all threats proved that the economic defense has a noticeable effect and a decisive role in the effectiveness of comprehensive defense against various threats of the enemy.

Today, the social capital is one of the soft power’s elements as well as one of the important components of the society and country’s "cultural security", and the social capital had decisive role in the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense. There are some factors that affecting in the production of social capital, including the "Media", which is particularly dramatic developments in the field of communication technology in recent years and it became a powerful tool. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between various functions of IRIB on the production of social capital in the country. The method combines qualitative and quantitative methods and different software is used for statistical analysis.The population sample of this study consist 77 experts in the fields of political science, communication sciences, social sciences and cultural affairs.The findings confirmed by direct relationship of many IRIB’s functions in indicators of social capital and, ultimately, we detected its allotment in the production of social capital in the indices.

The most important determinant factors of success and failure troops on the battlefield is understanding weather and its effect on moving forces, heavy equipment’s transportation and the weapons of both sides of the conflict.Hence, the role of environmental factors in the development or survival of a land war and population displacement could raise these factors as new security threats..The aim of this study is to recognize geography in terms of climate change, extreme precipitation indices (the military) that it done with benchmarking from the indices of climatology world meteorological organization and zoning each of them in the GIS and weighting indices by AHP during the 30 years from 1981 to 2010 were performed in two statistic population (51 synoptic meteorological station and a questionnaire survey among 80 individuals as a sample for weighting the indices). Given the high frequency of extreme precipitation events showed in the western half and drought indexes in the eastern half of the deployment and maintenance of equipment and systems of logistics and organization of the armed forces need to be considered these issues.
