Abstract: 

The main objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between the use of cognitive and metacognitive guidelines with the academic achievement of M.A students in Police University in 2007–2008. The sample populations were 96 M.A students who were studying at the third semester of academic year but due to the lack of cooperation in data collection phase, the number of students faced with loss and decreased to 71. The measurement tool in this study was the learning strategies questionnaire (cognitive and metacognitive) whose validity was confirmed by the supervisor and co-supervisor and its reliability had already been obtained in previous studies and the researcher through Cronbach alpha coefficient. To do so, the questionnaire distributed among all of the students in each class and after collecting the questionnaire, considering the fact that the average of all respondents was available to the researcher, the x2 test and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for data analysis and the correlation between the use of cognitive and metacognitive strategies with academic achievement of M.A students was confirmed in Police University in 2007–2008. Thus, it is recommended that for students to become familiar with the learning policies and strategies some appropriate workshops should be held at the University.

Abstract: 

Uniformization in an organization is uniformity, homogeneity, and similarity making of goods and services that have certain, specific, and similar uses in the organization (Shoghi, 2011). Uniformizations not only solvethe present complexity but also eliminate the risk of unnecessary future complexity. In fact, one of the practical ways to save on the costs is compliance with this principle (Bogopa, Megamisi, Balava, 2011). Uniformization makes it possible to achieve higher quality with less expense through ensuring the competition existence among suppliers and makes it easier to have conscious selection of the items, which are ordered for the organization (Institute of Standard and Industrial Research, ISIR, 2011).The concept of Uniformization in law enforcement logistics means controlling variety of purchasable goods with respect to the specified standards. In fact, standardization is the starting points of logistic activities and the principle of Uniformizationis the most superior aspect of those activities. This article addresses the issues of goods uniformizationaiming at evaluation and selected standardized organizational items which would be determining goods of organizational model. Therefore, we can conclude that while reducing the wide variety of items and the background of purchase monitoring, uniformization provides logistic item exploitation. Finally, I.R.I Police can take logistic item uniformization into consideration and thus reducing variation, improving quality and utilization, reducing costs and the easy and fast employing of logistic items in I.R.I Police level.

Abstract: 

I.R.I Police is an important organization in the military-strategic structure of armed forces and its performance results have a vital role in protecting the interests of national security, territorial integrity and independency of the country. Due to the importance and sensitivity of this mission, the police must pursue smart environmental changes and new technologies and increase their practical skills and the learning rate. Acquiring the new knowledge and technology without paying attention to organizational codes and its requirements would not meet the needs of the organization for learning the confrontation technics in new situations. Therefore, learning alignment with codes of the organization can be considered as one of the top priorities of the police. In one hand, it requires the identification of the factors that facilitate learning and, on the other hand, establishing and employing the mentioned factors are done through the effective management of them. This article addresses one of the most important affecting factors on organizational learning among different factors and that is the culture of learner and describes its role in learning development.

Abstract: 

The present paper addresses the concept of educational equality and its importance in police organization and while emphasizing on the role and importance of educational equality in police organization it will address the effect of the educational equality and the guidelines for achieving educational equality and also a comprehensive and systematic view in this domain. The educational equality has been addressed from two dimensions of equality and all-embracing in three domains of educational quality, educational structure, and material development according to the previous studies. The importance of educational equality has been taken into consideration from different aspects at each stage in police organization and by getting benefit of previous studies and experiences the practical guidelines related to educational equality achievement in police force students have been compiled and offered. These guidelines are related to educational quality, educational structure, and material development.

Abstract: 

Leadership as one of the effective and important factors in organizations have widely been studied and investigated. The degree of organization success in achieving its interests in question, the amount of motivation and attempt of the employees in organization success, the extent of organization influence in interactive environments and of course the effectiveness of leadership are mainly related to the type and behavior of the leadership. The theorists have stated several leadership approaches and theories. In this article, in addition to a concise overview of the different approaches and theories of leadership, an attempt is made to introduce the new leadership theories as a leadership worldview. In this regard, four kinds of Regulatory Worldview, Communitarian Worldview, Network Worldview, Entrepreneurial Worldview and their 8-dimensional aspects (leadership kind, intellectuality kind, reaction against crises, change, codes of ethic, time patterns, creativity, and technology) have been studied and introduced. The framework presented in this article can be a basis for its research on the subject and it can provide the initial framework for the study and development of Islamic leadership worldview. The results of this study indicated that the organizational leaders must be able to identify each of the leadership worldview limitations and advantages for playing their role effectively and by having a wider view of the present norms and possessing a deeper understanding of condition changes and environmental requirements and the internal conditions of the organization choose and employ the appropriate worldview according to the conditions and requirements. Finally, some useful and feasible solutions in the present conditions have been offered for leadership worldview development in organizations.

Abstract: 

Some problems outbreak such as lack of motivation among personnel, personnel conflict with each other, bribery, and financial corruption etc. are due to the lack of ethical standards and personnel’s commitment to them and above all, a minor role of human resources management in the organization. Issues such as economic justice, work honesty, discrimination, worker rights and safety are ethical issues that have been considered in relation to human resources management. Stress intensification in the workplace and ethical issues double up in organization have led the issue of human resources management with ethic-orientation to be taken a serious consideration and attract business management, especially human resources management attention more than before; because the human resources management is the basic source for ethical issues improvement in the organization. In this research, in addition to identify the various aspects of organizational ethics in human resources unit management, a theoretical framework consisting of seven factors to manage the governmental organizations’ human resources from the perspective of dealing with the ethical problems is presented and then the F-GAHP method and 10 professional and skilled human resources managers’ viewpoints have been used for the purpose of prioritization. This model has been formed of 7 factors, such as “personnel records security and work security, economic justice, work honesty, discrimination prevention, labor rights, personnel health and safety, and psychological counseling”. The model validity was approved by the experts’ opinion in the form of verbal validity, and its reliability was confirmed using incompatibility rate. The results showed that “personnel records security and work security” and also “labor rights” of personnel have the highest priority in the ethical oriented management of human resources in the governmental organizations.

Abstract: 

Maintenance is one of the fundamental and effective concepts in increasing every organization’s operational efficiency and effectiveness. Current research entitled as investigation of effective factors on I.R.I Police vehicle maintenance system based on total productive maintenance (TPM), which includes all of organization’s personnel-from top managers to operational employees in maintenance activities, aims at determining and investigating the effective factors on vehicle maintenance based on TPM and present practical solutions for implementing TPM in police vehicle maintenance system. This study is an analytic-descriptive research type. The population sample includes144 experts and specialists of police maintenance who were randomly selected; then, after defining the effective factors a questioner was prepared, distributed and collected. To obtain the testing normality of the data, the effect of identified factors and ranking them the one-sample T-test and confirmative factor analysis, K-S and Friedman tests were used. The results of data analysis showed that effective factors on police vehicle maintenance based on TPM are as bellow: focused improvement, qualitative note, autonomous maintenance note, Training, safety and environment, the planned maintenance and administrative and logistic activities notes. Also, there is a ranking between the effective factors.
