Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this study is investigating the efficacy of group therapy based on emotional schema therapy on anxiety and emotional schemas of women with generalized anxiety disorder. Method: This study is a quasi-experimental study of pretest-posttest type with control group. Statistical population is all 20-to 35-year women with generalized anxiety disorder who referred to psychological clinic of ferdowsi university of Mashhad city. With convenience and purposive sampling, 20 people were selected based on structured clinical interview for DSM-IV (SCID) and admittance criteria and divided into two experimental and control groups randomly. Experimental group received group therapy based on emotional schema therapy during 10 sessions and control groups were placed in waiting list. Members of two groups completed the Leahy emotional schemas scale and Beck’ s anxiety inventory before and after the treatment. Covariance analysis was used for data analysis. Findings: Results showed that group therapy based on emotional schema therapy led to significant decrease in anxiety scores, significant increase in the application of all compatible emotional schemes and significant decrease in the application of incompatible emotional schemes of guilt, simplicity, rationality, duration, blaming, and rumination in experimental group compared with control one.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine The Components of loneliness in relation to friends in adolescent girls based on their lived experiences. Method: This study is a qualitative and phenomenological study has been used to implement it. The sampling was targeted So that 135 UCLA Loneliness Scale was implemented on teenage girls with a mean age of 16 and 30 people who had high scores on the loneliness were selected as the study population. The main research tool was an interview and after 15 interviews and coded by using of Grounded theory, the data was reached to saturation point. Findings: The components of loneliness in relation to friends in adolescent girls was respectively: 1) the feeling of not being accepted and not belonging to a group of friends 2) lack of comfort and having strict boundaries with friends 3) low quantity and quality of friendship 4) The importance of evaluating friends and peers 5) restricting factors in communication. The results of this study indicate that Cognitive biases related to adolescent cognitive development, as well as factors such as the inability to communicate effectively with friends and generally distrust, affects Re-affiliation Motive in adolescents, and leads to a more distance than friends and going to chronic loneliness.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The aim of this study is investigating the effectiveness of Bowen Systemic Approach to promoting self-differentiation and marital satisfaction among Tork and Turkmen women. Method: The design of this study is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The participants included 150 Turkish and Turkmen women who were clients of Taemin-Ejtemaei Hospital of Bojnord. They were randomly assigned to two groups of experimental and control groups with 8 and 7 members. The experimental group received 8 sessions of transactional of Bowen while the control group was not offered any intervention. Before and after the intervention, "Marital satisfaction" and "differentiation" questionnaire was completed by the participants. Findings: Bowen's system education has a significant effect on marital satisfaction and the distinction between Turkish and Turkmen women. But there is no significant difference in regard to effectiveness. The findings also confirmed that the training of the Bowen system approach improves the marital differentiation and satisfaction in the experimental group.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Group-Based Positive Psychotherapy on Efficient & inefficient & Styles of referrals to other coping strategies in At Junior High School boy Students. Method: The research design was quasi-experimental with pre-test, post-test & Trimester-follow-up with the control group. The statistical population of all 13-to 16-year-old male students was 240 students in one of the junior high schools of Fariman town in the academic year 1396-97 That The purposive sampling method, 34 students were selected. The experimental & control group included 17 participants. The intervention for the experimental group consisted of 10 sessions of 60 minutes of Positive psychotherapy. The research instrument was a questionnaire of coping strategies and the program of positive psychology Rashid (2008). Data were analyzed using repeated measure ANOVA. Findings: The results showed that positive group psychotherapy has been effective in increasing coping strategies (P<0/01), & reduce non-efficient coping strategies (P<0/01), & increasing the styles of referral to others (P<0/01), in the students, & this effect has continued in the follow-up phase.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of solution-focused brief therapy on reduction social anxiety in children and adolescents with stuttering. Method: The Methods of present study was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The statistical population included all children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 years with Stuttering referred to speech-therapy clinics of Shiraz city in the academic year 2016-2017. The sample consisted of 32 children and adolescents with stutter who had the social anxiety in the clinical boundaries, namely that their test scores were higher than 55, were selected and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. Liebowitz social anxiety Scale for children and adolescents (2003) was used to collect data, which was administered as both the pretest and posttest. The content of solution-focused therapy sessions was provided according to the solution-focused therapy thesis by De Shazer. Data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics and multivariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) method. Findings: The results of analysis of variance indicated that the mean scores on social anxiety in the experimental groups had significantly decreased in comparison with the mean scores on social anxiety in the control groups. Thus, it can be concluded that solution-focused brief therapy was effective in reducing social anxiety in children and adolescents with Stutter.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of cognitive behavior therapy and Psychosocial Therapy on rumination and dysfunctional attitude in patients with chronic depression. Method: The Methods of the present study was semi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest design with two experimental groups. The statistical population included all patients with chronic depression in Isfahan city that 30 of them were selected through convenience sampling and then based on random assignment of subjects divided into two experimental groups (each group includes 15 subjects). The subjects responded to dysfunctional Attitude Scale (DAS) and Rumination Response Scale (RRS). Data were analyzed by using ANOVA with a repeated measure method. Findings: The results showed that rumination and dysfunctional attitudes decreased in both groups (P<0/001). Moreover, decreasing were significantly different in two groups. Totally, the native model based treatment was more effective than CBT in rumination, but not dysfunctional attitudes. Psychosocial Therapy also was more effective in man than women.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of CPRT therapy in decreasing separation anxiety disorder symptoms in children of divorce. Method: The method of this study is semi-experimental and the design is implemented by a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The statistical population included all divorced parents whose children were 2-6 years old and had symptoms of separation anxiety disorder. Sampling conducted by a Purposive, non-random method with screening, In order to estimate the sample population, Cohen table was applied. The samples of the current research were collected by referring to kindergartens and the Judiciary of Mashhad. According to the SAAS-P questionnaire, 35 children declared their readiness and then randomly these subjects were divided into experimental (17 subjects) and control groups (18 objects). The experimental group had 10 sessions of CPRT therapy while the control group had no training. After training, a test was conducted for both groups. Then, data obtained from covariance analysis showed a significant reduction analyzed. Findings: The results of covariance analysis showed a significant reduction in symptoms of separation anxiety in the experimental group. In addition, CPRT therapy on parents can reduce the symptoms of separation anxiety in children.
