Sports that depend on the geographical resources and attractions are considered the most important in sport tourism. One of the tourism events in the recent years is skiing which has the highest income in tourism industry and has therefore caused even many small communities to take action to invest in this sector as an attractive tourism destination. This study assessed the possibility of establishing recreation-sport ski site in Isfahan province using a combination of Boolean Logic and Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) methods in a geographical information system (GIS) environment. Boolean logic was used for examining the sub-criteria of the climate and geology and also for investigating the main criteria interactions such as geology, climate and accessibility. The results of the study showed that the greatest area and the density of the appropriate zone is located in the western part of the province. In these zones, especially in the cities and regions of Semirom, Frieden and Fereidunshahr, the land form is appropriate; the possibility of rain and snow durability is more than that in other regions of the province. Therefore, the western region has the potential to be as a skiing resort considering every aspects.

The purpose of this study was to identify and rank the factors which affect the creation of learning organizations of tourist industry in Qom. The research method of the study was a descriptive one. The population of this research included service, tourist and facility centers in Qom. Also for sampling of the participants convenience method was used. The necessary data was gathered using the questionnaire distributed among business executives in the mentioned centers. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS software in order to rank the factors which affect the learning organizations using TOPSIS method. The results showed that individual, group and organizational levels are all effective factors in creating learning organizations in these businesses. Also permanent learning, research and discussion, cooperative learning, merged system, and enabling factor were among the effective factors which affect a learning organization. However, the effect of variables such as system connection and strategic management on creating learning organizations was proved to be insignificant.

One of the most important issues in sustainable rural development is the development of rural tourism activities. Determining the value of tourism and their natural potentials with proper planning can lead the development of economic activities, income increase and employment in rural areas in one hand and to achieve sustainable development in these regions on the other hand. To achieve these objectives, recognizing the villages which have the potentials as well as ranking them is an essential step. The villages of Meshkinshahr due to the vast rural tourism and historical attractions have a high potential for attracting tourists, and offer the visitors a different choice of tourism opportunity. In this study, the prioritization and ranking of villages in Meshkinshahr have been analyzed using AHP recreational factors. The population of the study included tourist villages, experts and university professors who had enough knowledge and experience in the field of rural tourism. Thus, the most important measures affecting tourism were selected from tourists’ viewpoints in the form of a questionnaire. Then, four places in the villages were selected. The results of the study indicated that the infrastructure and service standards with a final score of 0.415 had the greatest effect on tourism development or lack of development in the target areas. Also, the most important factor was the level of rural area. Based on the results of the model, the Moiel village with 0.501, Onar village with the final score of 0.318, and Qasbeh village with the final score of 0.181 were placed in the first, second, and third ranks respectively

Nowadays tourism is mentioned as the fundamental factor of sustainable development and tourist attraction plays an important role in this industry. Sardasht with its natural and historical potentials has the potency to become a tourism center. Careful planning and identifying the potentials and limitations of this city can affect the national and local economic development. The purpose of the present study was to identify the potentials and attractions of the urban tourism. The method used in the study was analytical, descriptive and it was an applied research. In order to analyze the obtained data and present a strategy and approach to develop tourism, SWOT model was used. Thus a list of the strengths and weaknesses as well the opportunities and threats was prepared. The strategic factors were set and SWOT matrix was obtained to present the findings for fostering the infrastructures and tourism potentials in Sardasht. The results of the study showed that the existing strategy can be applied for developing tourist industry in Sardasht. Thus the strengths and existing opportunities must be used optimally.

The present research aimed at evaluating brand equity in tourist destination from the perspective domestic tourists in Tabriz in 2015. The study is a n applied one as far as the goals are considered and a descriptive one regarding the collection method. The SPSS and LISREL software were used to analyze the obtained data. The population of the study included the tourists who were available in the tourist destination in 2015. In this research Konecnik and Ruzzier model was used. The model has four dimensions which are: brand awareness, brand image, perceived quality and brand loyalty. The obtained results showed that in addition to brand image, brand loyalty, perceived quality and tourism destination brand awareness also has a direct effect on brand equity in Tabriz ; moreover, among the effective factors, the brand loyalty was proved to be the most effective one.

Using the results of rural tourism requires a careful analysis of the potentials of these areas for development. One of the necessary conditions of development is the existence of optimal social capital in the host society. Thus, the social capital for developing tourism was analyzed in the present study. This research is an applied one concerning its type and analytical – descriptive regarding its nature. The data were in the questionnaire form which had been gathered in library and experimental ways. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics in which the Promethe model and correlation were used. In the Promethe model the parameters are weighed. In this study, parameter weighting has been done in Dolfi method. The obtained results showed that the social capital of the villages understudy have a normal status to attract tourists and also social cooperation has the highest correlation with the social capital in those villages.

Rural tourism industry is one of the major sources of income, employment and developing rural infrastructure which is used to achieve sustainable rural development. Rural tourism in today's world is one of the most important part of economic activities and a policy for a balanced development of the environment logistics is considered to be optimal. Lashar because of its various tourist attractions and its long history as well as its monuments, natural attractions has become a great tourism center. In this descriptive study, using the SWOT model potentials, weaknesses, opportunities and threats were analyzed. The data used in this study were obtained from the Statistics Center of Iran's Cultural Heritage Organization and Tourism. Based on the results of the study, the researchers suggested strategies for tourism land use planning in the area understudy. The results of the study showed that in spite of the strenghs, Lashar is thretened by some weaknesses too. Therefore the environment logistics for this area is closer to offensive strategies (OS). Thus planning and investments should be directed towards the strenghs and available opportunities in the area.

Bird-watching has become one of the important and growing aspects of ecotourism. Thus ecotourism as a new approach of nature-based tourism is of significant importance in many countries during recent decades. Iran with its various environments especially its wetlands is the home for the two third of the different spices of birds in the middle east. However its share of these birds is so limited compared with other countries. The purpose of the present study was to emphasize the development of bird-watching as a protective approach of the birds’ home in wetlands and also to focus on the analysis of bird-watching tourist attraction in Miankaleh wetland as an important wetland areas in the world. The population of the study included the bird-watching tourists visiting Miankaleh in 1395. In order to analyze the obtained data, a t-test was ran using the SPSS software. In the study, the effect of marketing factors in tourist attraction was determined and using Friedman test the factors were prioritized. The results of the study showed that however all of the mentioned factors were effective in tourist attraction, their order from the tourists’ viewpoints was significant too.
