Kerman province is one of the important provinces for agricultural products. In this study, the comparative advantage of agricultural production in Kennan Province is investigated by using SAI, EAI, DRC and NSP index during 2006-2007. Data were collected from Kennan Agri-jahad organization and annual foreign trade database. Results show that Kennan has a comparative advantage on wheat, potato, sugar beet, corn and gram production.

This study with using seventy eight indices of agricultural development and by means of the techniques of "factor analysis" and "numerical taxonomy" have accomplished in two cross sections 1993 and 2003 and looking to determine whether the agricultural duality among provinces has decreased or increased. In the same time, we have searched if the level of agricultural development of Iranian provinces has increased during these years. The results show that the level of agricultural development of Iranian provinces in average has increased in average and the degree of agricultural duality has decreased somehow in this period.

The aim of this study is to estimate the fluid milk demand function and calculation of Welfare Loss due to monopoly power in milk production industry in 13 provinces from 2001 to 2005(65 observation). In this study, after Estimation of milk demand function, Welfare Loss due to monopoly power in fluid milk market via SCP model was calculated. The results revealed that milk price had negative effect on milk demand. On the other hand, price of substituted potables and advertisement costs had positive impact on fluid milk demand. Results indicate that welfare loss during 2001- 2003 is increasing but from 2003 to 2005 has had a decreasing trend.

Formulation of appropriate pricing policies should include consideration of the inelasticity and elasticity of agricultural demand for water, when economic instruments should be considered concurrently with social and environmental requirements. The data were collected using multi stage random sampling method in 2006. The result showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the number of productive datepalm, the total labor used and the number of irrigation with amount of date production. Marginal productivity of water in gravity and drip irrigation method is 0.194 kg and value of marginal productivity of water was calculated 204.06 Rials in this irrigation method. Marginal Economic Research Institute, Tehran, Iran productivity of water in basin irrigation system method is 0.13 kg and value of marginal productivity of water was calculated 140.73 Rials in this irrigation method. The cost of each m3 of water was calculated 67.23 Rials on the base of 20 percent interest rate. Demand elasticity for water in gravity drip irrigation and basin irrigation system methods has been -3.035 and -2.093 respectively which show that demands for water are elastic in both irrigation methods.

The age of poultry industry is as short as a few decades; however, it has a pertinent role in providing required protein of people. This reveals the fact that a precise forecasting of price in the poultry sector may result in optimized resource allocation, efficiency enhancement and an increase in income of the producers. Regarding the importance of price forecasting of the protein products including egg, this research uses methods of ARCH and ANNs to forecast the egg price in Iran for the various time paths consisting of one month, six months and twelve months. Accordingly, the main hypothesis relies on the more efficiently of the ANNs than those of the ARCH methods. Monthly data are collected for the domestic resources related to the agricultural sector for the period 1992-2006. The empirical results obtained confirm that the performance of ANNs in forecasting has been more precise than that of GARCH in more times. The implication is that the use of ANNs in prediction of the egg price is able to affect policymakers in the poultry industry toward making better decisions in the market.

The main objective of this study is to determine the environmental and non-environmental factors effective in adoption sprinkler irrigation methods in Khorasan Razavi province's farmers in 2007. For this purpose, Logit model was used. The results of this study showed that farmer's age, number of family labors, land fragmentation; number of products and access to water are variables that have a negative effect on adoption sprinkler irrigation methods. Also, area farms, literacy level, main job of farmers, land slope, heterogeneity of soil and getting loan, all, have positive and significant effects on adoption sprinkler irrigation methods. With respect to results of this study, promotion of farmers' knowledge, payment of subsidized credit and increasing of farm size through land consolidation are introduced as suggestions.

Capital, being convertible to other factors and when added to other inputs, causes an increase in production and revenue. Also capital injection to production process with the use of technology and new methods can lead an increasing efficiency of production inputs. Therefore in this paper, technical efficiency of fisheries producer (54 numbers) is studied by using Function of Statistic Frontier Production in Sistan and Baluchistan province. Also the impact of loan on fisheries sector is considered as well. As results show, the loan has a positive influence on technical efficiency of fish producers and fishermen. Also regarding loan inputs, producers of this group are working in non-economic production region. Finally considering the results, a number of recommendations have been presented.
