Abstract: 

Introduction Depression is a very common disease of the present age. It is important to study the causes and factors associated with depression. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between perfectionism and depression of students by mediation of rumination. Methods The research method was descriptive-correlational. 270 students from Dezfoul Islamic Azad University were selected by cluster sampling. In order to collect data، "Tehran Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale” ، the “ Rumination-Reflection Scale” ، and the “ Beck Depression Inventory Second Edition” were used. Validity and reliability have been confirmed in previous studies. The model was evaluated using a structural model using the SPSS. 18 and IMOS 20. Results In structural equation model، relationships between these variables were of acceptable fit. Correlation between perfectionism and depression (β = 0. 44، P = 0. 01)، between rumination and depression (β = 0. 44، P = 0. 01)، and between perfectionism and rumination correlation of perfectionism with rumination (β = 0. 56، P = 0. 01). Conclusions Perfectionism correlates with depression either directly or indirectly through rumination. Therefore، holding workshops on improving perfectionism and managing rumination in students is recommended.

Abstract: 

Introduction Nurses have a significant role in improving the performance of health organizations and the organization's transcendental goals. Therefore، their intention to quit is one of the most important problems in human resource management. The aim of this study is to determine the correlation between predictability of shelf life، job security and organizational commitment on nurses' shelving in purchasing contract at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical. Methods This is a descriptive-correlation study conducted in 2017. The study population included nurses in purchasing contracts in hospitals affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. In this study، 250 nurses were selected through simple random sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire consist of four part، demographic questionnaire، the “ Anticipated Turnover Scale” (ATS)، the “ Allen & Meyer Organizational Commitment Questionnaire” and the “ Job Security Questionnaire” . Validity of the instruments were confirmed by content validity and their reliability were confirmed by Cronbach's alpha. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21. Results The mean and standard deviation of the intention to quit was 3. 15 ± 0. 39. The mean and standard deviation of occupational safety and organizational commitment were 3. 15 ± 0. 49 and 3. 21 ± 0. 52، respectively. There was a significant and positive correlation between the predictability of shelf life with job security (r = 0. 212) and organizational commitment (r = 0. 141). Also، there was a positive and significant correlation between job security and organizational commitment (P < 0. 05). Conclusions A Significant correlation was found between job security and organizational commitment with the predictability of shelf life. Therefore، it is essential that managers pay more attention to changing the levels of nurses' employment buying in order to increase job security and organizational commitment.

Abstract: 

Introduction Resistance exercises have beneficial effects on the health of the cardiovascular system and can be an effective treatment for a variety of clinical conditions، such as heart disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of resistance training on serum hs-CTnI and NT-proBNP levels in elderly men. Methods This study was a semi-experimental design with pretest-posttest design. 24 subjects were selected from among elderly men of Karaj (age: 72 ± 25. 5، weight: 73. 4 ± 13. 3، BMI: 27. 1 ± 4. 1) as the subjects of this study and randomly divided into 2 groups of resistance training (12 subjects) and control (12 subjects). The protocol of resistance training was designed for eight weeks and three sessions per week with eight movements and each move with ten replications for the intervention group. The control group was in control of the Kahrizak sanatorium in order to compare it with the training group and to evaluate the effect of eight weeks of pre and post-test blood collection. To measure serum levels of NT-proBNP and hs-CTnI، the ELISA method and chemi luminescence were used respectively. The reliability of NT-proBNP and hs-CTnI kits were identified by identifiers (ZB-1239-H9648) and (ZB-11753S-H9648)، respectively. Validity of the Kits used was determined by a survey of laboratory experts. Data was analyzed using SPSS. 24 software. Results Serum levels of hs-CTnI and NT-proBNP showed a significant decrease after eight weeks of resistance training (P < 0. 05). Also، the levels of NT-proBNP in the training group were significantly reduced after eight weeks of training compared to the control group (P < 0. 05). Conclusions Resistance exercises reduce the levels of prognostic biomarkers of heart disease hs-CTnI and NT-proBNP in older men. Therefore، providing resistance training programs can reduce the rate of atrophy of the skeletal and cardiac muscles and the phenomenon of sarcopenia، which occurs in old age، and maintain the levels of cardiac biomarkers in optimal conditions.

Abstract: 

Introduction The health care industry and its sensitive environment، improving nurse's perception of internal marketing and its emphasis on employees empowerment and their jobs، can enhance the internal environment of the hospitals and the patient satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of internal marketing by surgical nurses and its role in service-centered encounter and patient satisfaction in hospitals. Methods The present study was a descriptive study that its statistical population consisted of the nurses of the surgical department of hospitals in Fars province. This research began in October 2017، which was distributed by purposive sampling method in a total of 684 questionnaires distributed and after deleting the questionnaires with incomplete answers، the number of questionnaires was 546. To collect data، “ Internal Marketing Perception Questionnaire” ، “ Service-Centered Encounter Questionnaire" and" Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire” were used. The validity of the instruments were measured by Content Validity Index (CVI) and reliability by Cronbach's alpha method. Data was analyzed by SPSS 18. 0. Results The value of F was equal to 44. 692 which was significant at 1% level. As a result، service-oriented exposure is positively correlated with patient satisfaction. Also، understanding the internal marketing among nurses in the surgical unit has a significant positive moderating effect on the service-centered encounter and patient satisfaction (F = 31. 074، P < 0. 001) and (F = 37. 256، P < 0. 001). Conclusions Service-centered encounter has a positive correlation with patient satisfaction، and internal marketing perception has a positive moderating effect on service-oriented encounter and patient satisfaction. It is suggested that by implementation of performance-based encounter assessment، emphasize on the patient needs by nurses.

Abstract: 

Introduction Internal marketing is a management tool that provides the quality of service through the attention of employees as internal customers. The purpose of this study was to determine the internal marketing components of the hospital and the internal marketing model design of native Iran. Methods The methodology of this study is qualitative / quantitative. In the qualitative stage due to the lack of theoretical frameworks، the theme analysis method was used to extract the conceptual model. The statistical sample of this stage is 10 lecturers and experts in the field of marketing، which were selected on the basis of non-random and purposive sampling. The statistical population of the small section، Khatam-ol-Anbia hospital staff was 350، according to the Morgan table، there were 183 individuals. The instrument was an "Internal Marketing Questionnaire" which measured content validity and reliability of the it using Cronbach's alpha. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out in places where employees were most likely to attend، and people responded to the questionnaires by simple random sampling at different times. Finally، the questionnaires were answered by 106 non-medical staff and 77 employees in the health care departments. Data was analyzed using Laser 8. 8 Version. Results In the qualitative stage، 39 components were selected، including 6 sub themes and 2 main themes as internal marketing components and the conceptual model was extracted. In the quantitative phase، the findings show that the factor load of the variables is significant between 0. 60 to 0، 81 and at the level of 001. 0. Findings confirm the overall model، indicating that the components of organizational behavior have the highest، and the motivational components have the least correlation with the internal marketing Conclusions Despite the importance of all the components، the components of all the components، the components of organizational behavior are the most important variable due to the greatest correlation with internal marketing. It is suggested that the designed model be used to improve the quality of services provided by hospital and non-hospital staff.

Abstract: 

Introduction Patients with vitiligo often have aesthetic، cognitive، and psychological challenges that create adverse social and psychological effects for these patients. The purpose of this study was comparing effectiveness of “ Schema Therapy" and “ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy” on maladaptive schemas and general health in patients with Vitiligo. Methods The present study was a semi-experimental pre-test and post-test design. The statistical population included all patients with vitiligo disorder referring to the skin clinic of AL Zahra Hospital in Isfahan. 24 patients were selected by convenience sampling method. Subjects were then randomly assigned into three groups: “ Schema Therapy" and “ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy” and control. For intervention، the patients undergoing “ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy” group training were trained for 9 sessions and 8 weeks for the intervention of the patients in the "Schema Therapy" group. Data was collected by “ General Health Questionnaire" and the “ Young's Schema Questionnaire-Short Form” . Then the validity and reliability were measured. Data was analyzed by SPSS 21. Results The results of covariance analysis showed that there is a difference between maladaptive schemas and general health between the “ Schema-therapy” and “ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy” and control group. Comparison of the results showed that scores differences between schema therapy group and control group were significant. In addition، there was a significant difference between the scores of “ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy” and control group (P≤ 0. 05). However، there was no significant difference between the two groups of “ SchemaTherapy” and “ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy” . Conclusions SchemaTherapy، “ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy” is considered as two effective therapies for reducing maladaptive schemas and promoting health of patients with vitiligo. Therefore، therapists and practitioners can use the results of this research to reduce internal conflicts and inefficient schemas of their skin patients.

Abstract: 

Introduction Students have many problems in their various dimensions of self-care and self-efficacy. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of health habit-based intervention on self-care and self-efficacy of nursing students. Methods The present study was a semi-experimental design with pretest-posttest with control group. Sixty nursing students were randomly assigned to two intervention and control groups. For data collection، the "Dossey & Keygan Self-Care Scale" and "General Self-Efficacy Scale" Sherrer et al were used. Validity and reliability of "Self-care scale of Dossey and Keegan" were determined by the face validity، content validity index and content validity ratio and its reliability was determined by Alpha-Cronbach's coefficient. Validity and reliability of the Persian version “ Self-Efficacy Scale” have been confirmed in previous studies. The intervention group was run for 6 weeks for the intervention group. Six sessions of support and follow-up consultation were conducted at the student dormitory student counseling center. There was no intervention for the control group. Questionnaires were completed by both groups before and after the intervention. Data was analyzed in SPSS software version 19. Results The difference in mean of total self-care score and self-efficacy in the two intervention and control groups was not statistically significant (P > 0. 005) before intervention. But after the intervention، the difference in mean of self-care score in physical، mental and interest dimensions، as well as the mean score of self-efficacy، was statistically significant (P < 0. 001). Conclusions The health habit-based intervention program was able to increase student’ s self-care in areas such as physical، mental، and interest as well as self-efficacy. It is recommended that this intervention be applied for undergraduate nursing courses in all universities.

Abstract: 

Introduction In every job، impulsivity and tension are factors that researchers need to measure with appropriate instruments. The aim of this study was to translating and measuring the psychometric properties of the “ Job Impulsivity and Tension Scale” among Employees of Isfahan Gas Transmission Company. Methods In this methodology study، after obtaining permission from the designers of scale، its translation process was carried out in seven stages. To assess psychometric، content validity and face validity were measured. For construct validity through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis، two samples of 190 people and 188 employees of Isfahan Gas Transmission Company were selected randomly. Concurrent validity along with the “ General Health Questionnaire” (GHQ-28)، the “ Fatigue Scale” ، the “ Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index” (PSQI)، and the “ Euphoret Sleepiness Scale” (ESS)، was measured. Reliability was verified by Cronbach's alpha، Gamma coefficient and test retest. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 21 software. Results The face was confirmed and the content validity ratio was، in all phrases، beyond the acceptable value of 0. 59 for 11 specialists. In construct validity، the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the existence of two independent factors of impulse and tensions. Concurrent validity results showed that there was a positive، positive and significant relationship between scores. Reliability coefficients were confirmed by Cronbach's alpha and split-plot method. Conclusions The Persian version of the “ Job Impulsivity and Tension Scale" has an appropriate validity and reliability. It is suggested to be used in related research.
