Abstract: 

Objective: The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the Iran Scientific Information Database (Ganj) using user engagement scale. Methodology: This research is an applied one. A standard questionnaire for User Engagement Scale was used to collect the data, which is composed of four scales including Focused Attention, Perceived Usability, Aesthetic Appeal, and Reward. SPSS software was used for data analysis. The population of this study is the graduate students of Tabriz University, of which 50 students who declared their readiness to participate in the research was selected as sample. Findings: Results showed that the Focused Attention scale has the lowest and the Perceived Usability scale has the highest average score in both systems. The mean scores for the Attention, Perceived Usability, Aesthetic Appeal, and the Reward were 2. 28, 2. 77, 2. 31, and 2. 57 in the previous version of Iran Scientific Information Database (Ganj), and were respectively 2. 56, 2. 91, 2. 79, and 2. 84 in the new platform of the same database. Conclusion: Although new platform of ISID (Ganj) is relatively better than its previous version in term of UES, However, in order to improve the user engagement in the new platform, it is necessary to pay more attention to the principles of user interface design.

Abstract: 

the purpose of present research was to determine the relationship between multiple variables (social desirability, mental norms, academic self-efficacy, plagiarism knowledge, purpose, pressure, time management, risk) with the possibility of plagiarism among post-graduate students of Ilam University. Methodology: the present research is applied in terms of purpose and is survey in terms of research implementation. It is a correlation research in terms of the manner of collecting the required data and the relationship between the variables. The statistical population of the present research includes all post-graduate students of Ilam university. The questionnaire was distributed among them by random sampling and self-developed questionnaires of risk, time management, pressure, objective and policy of APA Johnson (2018), mental norms questionnaire of Montana & Kespzick (2008), Academic self-efficacy questionnaire of Downport & Lan (2006), the possibility of plagiarism questionnaire of Shred et al (2002), plagiarism questionnaire of Yeh (2007). In data analysis, simple correlation coefficient and Structural equation modeling was used in WARP PLS software. Findings: The results of research showed that excessive pressure on students to do homework beyond their ability, lack of knowledge about plagiarism and plagiarism knowledge, as well as poor time management to do homework on time cause students to turn to this immoral phenomenon. Therefore, university administrators and professors can reduce the prevalence of this phenomenon by holding educational classes on plagiarism and its consequences, increasing students’ self-efficacy, creating a proper culture and also teaching proper time management, and prevent it from being committed.

Abstract: 

Objective: University libraries play a decisive role in the quality of education and research in the country and job satisfaction, commitment and motivation of librarians of these libraries is very important in the optimal efficiency of their services. Commitment and mediating role of inner motivation of university library librarians are discussed. Methodology: The method of this research is descriptive (non-experimental) and the correlational research design is path analysis. The statistical population of this study is all librarians of Iranian university libraries. From this number, according to the number of librarians in each university, based on the formula for determining the sample size and random stratified method, 537 people have been selected as the sample. The Millman (1992) questionnaires were also used to measure the job plateau in this study. Findings: The results showed that among the research variables, job satisfaction (-0. 28), organizational commitment (-0. 25) and intrinsic motivation (-0. 15), respectively, had the highest negative correlation coefficient with the Career plateau. Also, the effect of Career plateau on organizational commitment, job satisfaction and internal motivation is negative and significant. Originality: This is one of the few studies that has studied the effects of the Occupational Career plateau phenomenon on academic librarians. The results of this study can be used to improve the situation of plateau employees.

Abstract: 

Objective: Presenting a model regarding librarian' role in infopreneurship by users of Iran government universities central libraries Methodology: applied research is done in the analytical-descriptive method which consists of documentary and is a combination of methods. a questionnaire was used to collect data from the documents and to collect the data from the researcher's questionnaire. Abstract: 

This study aims to develop an IT communication model with knowledge management and organizational learning in the staff of Farhangian University. The method is a descriptive correlation based on structural equations. The statistical population is all the staff of Farhangian university of Tehran that were 220 people. According to the size of the society and its homogeneity in the type of employment, the society was divided into three classes, and according to the ratio of each class, the sample size was determined., the Torng & Lin`s (2005) IT questionnaire, organizational learning of Neefeh (2002), and Knowledge Management of Lawson (2003) have been used. Their validity was confirmed by experts and professors, and the reliability is in a preliminary study with 30 subjects and with Cronbach's alpha is calculated 0. 95, 0. 92, and 0. 93. In order to analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov, modeling PLS and SPSS 21 software were used. The findings showed that there is a relationship between IT and knowledge management and organizational learning among the staff of Farhangian University, as well as between IT with knowledge management components (recognition of knowledge, knowledge acquisition, knowledge use, knowledge sharing, knowledge development, knowledge maintenance) and components of organizational learning (individual skills, mental models, common perspective, comprehension), and their relationship model has a good fit. Also, of 0. 75, and mental models with coefficient of influence of 0. 76. Considering the impact of IT on knowledge, using their communication model in planning and decision making of this university is recommended.

Abstract: 

Perpose: This article aims to provide effective solutions to improve the quality of service of Central Library of the Shiraz University, the dimensions of service quality based on prioritizing comments of experts and determine the existing situation desired library from the perspective of users checked out. the Methodology: Factor of the quality of service was extracted from the SERVQUAL model. And the comments of the experts of the library in connection with prioritizing the effective factors in improving the quality of library services, Through the use of DEMATEL method, were analyzed. In addition, the perspective of the users of the library the existing situation of the target library services through a standard questionnaire checked out. Findings Results achieved with respect to the method of DEMATEL showed that the reliability as the most influential factor and empathy as the richest of the most important factors Improve the quality of library services. The analysis of library users comments also indicated that more empathy than other factors about the satisfaction of library users.
