Abstract:

study on diversity and density of Gastropoda in sediments of Oman Sea (Hormoz strait Quatr Bay) 10 stations were selected. In this study Ferdous 1 vessel and a 0.1m2 Van-Veen grab sampler was used for collecting sedimens in addition to the physical and chemical parameters such as temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and pH using the CTD module. Ethanol 95% and Rosebengal were used for fixing and staining. In this study 71 genera of 43 families of Gastropoda were identified. Among the identified groups, Nassaridae 27%, Retusidae 16%, Pyramidellidae 12%, Cyclostrematidae 8% and Scaphandridae 7% were dominant groups. Results show that diversity and density of Gastropoda in Oman Sea, affected by the southwest Indian Ocean monsoon winds. As far as the frequency of them will be increased and their diversity will be decreased after summer monsoon. But the density of Gastropoda did not show significant difference among before and after Monsoon.

Abstract:

Polychaetes worm's types according to the relative equity value of proper food and their nutritional value, types of aquatic requirements, such as protein and fat and having kinds of fatty acids and amino acids, have been considered. In this 180 number-weighted average 0.25 grams of worms of coastal tidal zone in the fall of Bandar Abbas, 89 were randomly collected. Samples treated with three types of food commercial post larval food, green macro algae (Entermorpha) and red macro algae (Grasilariya) for 60 days and repeated three times, were feed. Oxygen, salinity, temperature and pH for treatments within 6.5 and 38.5 respectively and 25 and measured 7.9 and duration of light during the day to 12 hours light, 12 h dark for all treatments as Were considered equal. Protein, fat, moisture and ash for the samples fed with commercial food macro algae macro algae red and green, respectively (8.81, 2.39, 87.59, 1.12) and (7.71, 2.36, 87.61, 0.85) and (8.91, 2.27, 86.25, 0.97) and control treatment of nature (7.76, 2.19, 86.26, 0.92) Percentage was calculated. Most protein and fat respectively in red and treatments macro algae food commercial and the lowest in the treatments and control treatment macro algae green nature calculated. However, significant differences compared to each other in between treatments were observed (P>0.05(.

Abstract:

The present study aims to determine the concentration of heavy metal Cd in the muscle and liver tissues of fish space including the Khramulia (Capoeta capoeta). This study was conducted in Tajan rive, Mazandaran province, Iran. Sampling was carried out by electroshocker at four stations in spring 2010. Microwave digestion method and atomic absorption spectrometry were employed to measure the concentration of heavy metals in samples. Levene s test was used to assess the equality of variances. Variances of Cd were homogenous in the muscle (P>0.05) and Variances of Cd were unhomogenous in the liver tissue (P≤0.05).The results of atomic absorption showed that heavy metals accumulation in liver were greater (P≤0.05) than muscle at this space. The highest accumulations of Cd were in the liver of this space, respectively (P≤0.05). The comparison of the results of study with the recommended maximum limits by the World Health Organization showed that the concentrations of Cd in liver and Cd in the muscle tissue of studied space were higher than standard limits.

Abstract:

Coastal waters of the Persian Gulf were investigated for the purpose of selecting the best place for artificial reef installation based on some of physical parameters of water in the central, Bandar Lengheh and west of Hormuzgan province. In this study, some of physical parameters of waters were studied seasonally. For this purpose, from the south of Qeshm Island to Hendorabi Island was divided to 10 transects, and each of them was partitioned to 3 sub transect (Coastal line to 10, 10 20 and 20 30 meters), also random sampling and CTD apparatus were used for data collection. The results of variance Analysis were performed that there was a difference in average of temperature, salinity, oxygen saturate, oxygen dissolved, chlorophyll a and turbidity in whole of the transects seasonally (P<0.05), (but this test was not varied for total parameters in whole of stations (Coastal line to 10, 10 20 and 20 30 meter) (95% confidence interval). Also some of these parameters differ in south of Qeshm island, Bandar Lengeh and Bandar Haseneh to Hendorabi island sections (P<0.05).Chlorophyll a parameter was resulted different in the Bandar Masen and Bandar Salakh transects with Bahman jetty and Hengam island transects (P<0.05), but other parameters do not showed significant difference in this area (South of Qeshm island) with together (P>0.05), except turbidity parameter, that it was differ between Bandar mesan transect with 3 other transects in south of Qeshm island (P<0.05). Finally, Bahman jetty, Hengam island, Bandar salakh and Hendorabi island obtained good transects and other transects selected average transects based on some of physical parameter of water for artificial reefs installation.

Abstract:

One of the major problems in aquaculture need to achieve a balance between growth rate and optimal use of fish meal is provided. Successful breeding fish (such as kutum) to the ability to access food, nutrition and health could depend on to grow, especially in the larval stage guarantee.A compensatory growth phase of rapid growth following feed restriction in effect in such critical situations is what a lot of cellar and what has hydrothermal. This experiment for 6 weeks in the summer of 2009 and in Center for cultural and breeding of bony fish Syjuval, Bandar Turkman in Golestan province was conducted. Given the importance of factors physico chemical water and their impact on nutrition and ultimately the growth of fish, these factors all the time growing precisely control was so that the amount of dissolved oxygen against ppm 7.09±0.06, the temperature equal to 24.61±0.2 and pH during the test 7.98±0.01 was measured. Kutum fry during the experiment with food that has SFK: moisture 8.7%, Ash 11.2%, protein 32% fat and 10.5% was fed. Experiments in four treatments and three replications following were: Treatment A: One week starvation+a week feeding, treatment B: two-week starvation+two weeks feeding, treatment C: three-week starvation+three weeks of feeding, treatment D: 6 weeks feeding complete. Feeding rate of 10 percent based on total body weight of fish a repeat fry, took a day.The results showed that treatments were between body weight of fish are significant differences observed dust (P<0.05). The highest weight gain in six weeks feeding fry were completely growth and increased starvation decreased.

Abstract:

In this study, Polyester Resin was used as a fixing material for fixing aquatics samples for education uses and that have advantages such as not having stink, anti-Carcinogen, stability of color, easy transportation and more durable than actual common methods which are used to keep samples in Formalin solution. Hence, first proper dosage of a stiffener that must be mixed with Resin was Resin and finally they compared three methods by using scoring to the most important factors which can be significant in stabilization of sample. In the first method, fresh fish was used in Resin which can be utilized just for small fish. In the second method, Formalin was used before putting samples in Resin, but achieved results show a kind of blurring in samples. In the third method, acetone was used as an absorbing material after stabilization of samples by Formalin that has better results rather that former two of hers methods that prepares samples with higher clearance and lower blurring and being more homogeneous compared to her two former methods.

Abstract:

This study was done to investigate the effect of different levels of betaine supplementation in the diet of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) fry on survival and resistance to environmental stresses (hypoxia, high temperature, high salinity, and high and low pH). Four treatments (diets) were used as control (without betaine supplementation), B0.4 (0.4% Betaine), B0.8 (0.8% Betaine) and B1.2 (1.2% Betaine) with three replicates.40 fish (average weight: 0.67 0.15 g) were stocked in tanks and were fed 5 times daily. Fish were fed 4 4.5% body weight per day. There were significant differences in survival and resistance to environmental stresses (hypoxia, high temperature, high salinity, and high and low pH) among different treatments. Resistance to environmental stresses in fish fed experimental diets were higher than control diet (P<0.05). Resistance to hypoxia was significantaly better in B0.4 compared with control diet (P<0.05). The results of the present study showed that dietary betaine supplementation have desirable effect on resistance to environmental stresses in rainbow trout fry.
