Increasing variety of the information sources and products in web, insufficiency of some motor searches, necessity of the coherence of information, the need to standard models and framework for reviewing the information all have confronted the police managers with new challenges in controlling crimes and criminals.The present study tries to help police use an approach named “Information Cloud” to get a full control over the process of crime completion and its control. This is an applied descriptive study. First, the process of formation of information cloud is clarified, then the current status of I.R.I police information banks, the extent to which the officers are familiar with them, and the indices for the appropriate model of information cloud are elaborated on. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The findings demonstrat that a Coherent information system is a necessity. Police information cloud is proposed as the police most appropriate strategy in dealing with the present challenges.

The present study tries to explore the approach of governmental and non-governmental elites to order and public security in its social, economic, political, and cultural aspects. Experimental identification of the type of approach the elites devise toward order and public security is the objective of the study.This is an applied descriptive study. 234 of the elites were randomly selected to form the statistical sample of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data.The findings of the study are: Elites’ approaches are maily police-oriented; Political, cultural, social, and economic aspects are emphasized respectively; Political and cultural aspects are considered more important on the part of governmental elites.

Intelligence surveillance plays an important role in the safety of electronic marketing. The present study tries to investigate the ways to have intelligence surveillance over electronic marketing. 108 of the police officers working in Tehran police commandment were randomly selected to form the statistical population of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The findings of the study demonstrated that all four hypothese have been approved to be correct. The proposed ways to maintain inteligence surveillance over electronic marketing are then: comprehensive supervision systems, approving the systemic identity, exploring the required qualifications of the cyber markets, and receiving the public reports.

Organizational Intelligence especially in the service organizations is considered an important factor which managers should have to make the organization more effective. The present study tries to investigate the relationship between the manager’s organizational intelligence and effectiveness of police intelligence operations. This is an applied descriptive study whose statistical population were officers holding BA or above at work in intelligence branch in Tehran. 97 of the officers were randomly selected to form the statistical population. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. SPSS was used to analyze the collected data. The findings of the study demosntrated that there is a significant relationship between the aspects of police managers organizational intelligence and effectiveness of intelligence missions.

Despites its various advantages, cyber space has let so many different crimes in due to its special features. The present study tries to elaborate on the ways to prevent them. This is a descriptive applied study. 57 of the experts of information technology in Iran police formed the statistical population of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. T-test was used to analyze the collected data. The findings of the study demonstrate that the following methods are significantly effective in cyber crime prevention:-Methods based on information technology including the attachers’ Ips;-Cyber space control;-Collecting electronic evidences;-Documentation in crime scene.

The present study aims at investigating the effect of drug addiction on the dimunitive crime rate in Tabriz. Dimunitive crimes have been less-attended due to certain reasons. Such crimes can lead to the weakening of the sense of security. All the cases related to the dimunitive crimes in 2011 formed the statistical sample of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The study is an applied descriptive research. SPSS was used to analyze the collected data. The findings of the study demonstrated that there was a significant relationship between the drug abuse and dimunitive crime rate. No significant relationships were seen between personal features and theft.
