The cosmopolitan genusCharletonia, which was established by Oudemans (1910) is known from larval and postlarval forms. Up to now, more than 90 species (from larval instars) of the genus Charletoniahave been described throughout the world (Mąkol and Wohltmann 2012; Tashakor et al.2015)....

There are 21 genera in the family Neopygmephoridae (Acari: Heterostigmata: Pygmephoroidea) (Khaustov and Mandelshtam 2017) in which many of them are associated with various arthropods including сhilopods, spiders, bees, ants, beetles, and termites (Khaustov 2017). One of the neopygmephorid genera isParapygmephorus Cross, 1965 encompassing eight species, associated with bees of the families Halictidae, Apidae, Colletidae and Megachilidae, and in one case on a spider wasp, Pompilidae (Fanet al.2014). These phoretic mites feed on fungi in the nests of their bee hosts and are clinging them by a large and strong single claw on their first tibiotarsus (Cross 1965)…..

Aegyptianella pullorum(Rickettsiales: Anaplasmataceae) is an obligate intracellular organism which is most closely related toAnaplasma spp. (Abdul-Aziz and Barnes 2013). Aegyptianella pullorum is the causative agent of avian aegyptianellosis, a noncontagious infectious disease of chickens, geese, ducks, quail and ostriches, and is transmitted by argasid ticks as biological vectors (Kreier and Gothe 1976). Although, Ae. ranarum is transmitted by the amphibian-feeding leech Batracobdella picta (Zhang and Rikihisa 2004).....
