Situation of urban management has many weaknesses that looks urban governance model proposed for the today’s cities. Urban good governance model with regard to civil society, the public sector and the private sector, trying to derive the city and its citizens to excellence situation. The aim of this study is to examine the main elements of urban good governance and according to major component of urban good governance, to examine the principles of good governance in Ahwaz city. This study in terms of purpose is implicational and in terms of method is descriptive-analytic and methods of data collection are survey- library. Statistical population in this study is, three groups of citizens (eight zones of Ahwaz), public sector (water, electricity and gas offices) as well as the private sector (companies and private sector contracting that effect on city). In this study, the possible classified method for sampling and for analysis of the results regression testing (using Enter) in Spss is used. Results of this study showed that, situation of Ahvaz city, is not in the context of urban good governance and components of the rule of law, participation and justice, and from the other components are more important and more effective.

Iranian Islamic sustainable architecture has always emphasized the beauty and Iranians have tried to crystallize the underlying meanings and concepts with regard to Islamic thoughts in the architecture of fine buildings. Executives of building and architectural designers of Iranian mosques either in the past or at present always try that besides the structural construct and apparent body of mosques as a social place and fulfillers of the everyday needs of social groups, give it a spiritual sanctity and soul associated with the upper world. The issue and subject for research in this regard is how thought and sense is objectively manifested by passing the processes of architectural structural design. The study is done with a review of desk study in the field of architectural analysis of Islamic monuments by descriptive - analytical method and by studying all effective variables confirmed by Islam have examined the physical elements of Isfahan Congregational Mosque to determine the answer for the above mentioned problem. The results of this study prove the claim that Iranian Islamic architecture art is the manifestinl of fulfilling the sacred matter in the physical body of Islamic architecture art, while providing the social needs in the form and meaning. By observing the principle of integration or unity despite pluralism in required performance of Islamic Iranian congregational mosques, this basic philosophical principle is intelligently institutionalized in practice at the same time with the reserved nature of Iran's congregational mosques.

Nowadays, with the development of cities and urbanization, the problems and difficulties suffered several cities and civilians. The urban green spaces, especially parks, as the evening relaxing in leisure time and is now recognized as citizens. Urban parks and green spaces of the main parts is publicly and freely available to all the citizens of the city. But what is important to the quality of distribution parks in the city as well as the quality of facilities and services offered in these spaces and it is. Nazarabad city as the center of the city, due to its proximity to major cities including Tehran and Karaj, has been a rapid growth in population and physical development. Therefore it is necessary that the status of this important user in the city to be evaluated both quantitatively and qualitatively. In this study, quantitative analysis, including distribution parks, per capita available, the equipment and facilities available in the park is done. Using a questionnaire, the quality and satisfaction of the citizens of the state park system is measured. If the results are quantitative, low per capita area of parks and green spaces in the city and there Nazarabad this is inappropriate. In analyzing the quality is poor and the satisfaction of security and welfare in urban parks, citizens are happy with the situation.

The physical development of the city is an essential element in any integrated urban development program. The rapid expansion in the physical form of cities in an unplanned and uneven growth in line with the various causes of irregular migration is considered one of the major problems in Iran's cities which can result in urban sprawl. The main objective of this study was to investigate the implications of urban development and measuring the urban sprawl in Tehran's Region 2 using Moran Index, GINI and aggregation indicators. results showed that the physical expansion of this region has a sprawl pattern which has a profound influence on the spatial structure of this area. With the application of aggregation indicators, it was found that increasing aggregation in Tehran's District 2 has decreased slightly in this area in recent years and has proven that applying such policy towards developing smart growth is partly practical. Finally, the result of this study has been used to suggest practical proposals towards reduction of urban sprawl in Tehran's region 2.

Today, space that could be called the urban squares in cities can not be found. If there are urban areas due to poor growth of these cities lost their social function and has become a place for communication and the passing cars. In this article Tajrish and urban squares in Tehran Imam Khomeini located in districts 1 and 12 in Tehran, studied comparative study placed. The study is based on library research, documents and questionnaires and analytical research method - has been analyzed. The population in this study, residents of the surrounding area with a radius of vision and depth of 100-75 meters. After collecting the necessary data, the analysis is spss software. In the past, thermal comfort was achieved through building design and some of construction equipment, and choosing a suitable shell form was one of the favored methods in architecture. These circumstances changed in 1960s and heating, cooling and lighting of the buildings through mechanical equipment achieved a key and pivotal role. Following energy crisis which resulted, paying attention to the building design turned once again to the best heating and cooling method. In addition, Iran's geographical position makes it possible to obtain a considerable amount of radiant energy. In such circumstances, designing architectural components of the building properly can lead to a reduction in its energy consumption. Among these components, roof, which plays a major role in receiving energy and consequently the thermal comfort of the building, is ignored. The study discusses four common types of the roof in cold and dry climates (Karaj), including flat, one-way, two-way and four-way with different angles. Research Methodology is based on modeling and simulation, and the main goal of the study is to achieve optimum form and slope of the roof according to the mean radiant temperature, which is one of the major factors in thermal comfort. The results represent most optimal roof and its optimum angle in sloping ceiling with fixed floor area, according to the energy gain in the surveyed models.
