Undoubtedly, one of the important issues in the domain of culture is the interactive effect of cultures, languages" and literatures on each other. In this respect there are several factor involved namely: political, cultural religious, social, economical. The Persian Language and Literature have not been exception to this effect having itself been influencial in other cultures. However, it has not only kept its foundations but also by mixing with them has added to its richness and made use of the different subjects of various languages.
The emergence of Islam and the advancement of Arabs to different lands brought about mutual relations between Arabs and other nations. During the two century direct rule of Arabs over Iran, and even after that, Iranians became aquainted with different issues concerning Arabic literature. This is reflected very much in the persian literature.
As you know the Arabic literature enjoyed importance particularly in the pre - Islamic period. One of the on going issues in this period is poetic love stories. Many Arabic love stories have found their way into the persian literature. The persian poets and writers have achieved greatly by story indications and analogies or by composing independent poetry and writing stories.
In this article there have been twenty Five topics of story, twelve of which framed in 137 poems and 21 stories. Considering the history of the composition of the poems we understand that they mostly date back to safavid period. The poetic frame work of Masnavi in this period has been the focus of attention among poets. From the content point of view, some of these stories are rooted in the Quran and some of them are composed in the mystic style and some others are related to romance. The latter has only been made only due to artistry of the poet and to the immitation of master pieces in persian literature. Another reason for composing such poems is to entertation people with exciting stories according to the tradition of the time.
