Abstract:

Background and Objective: Pregnancy is known as one of the most important stages in women's lives. In addition to being very joyful for most women, this period can also be considered a stressful period. In the meantime, establishing an emotional relationship with the fetus is considered one of the important adaptive stages in dealing with pregnancy anxiety. It seems that maternal-fetal attachment behaviors differ in different cultures and religions. This study aimed to investigate the effect of training in maternal-fetal attachment behaviors based on Iranian-Islamic culture on the anxiety of pregnant women referring to comprehensive health centers in Qom. Methods: In this semi-experimental study, 84 pregnant mothers with first pregnancy, singletons, with gestational age 30 to 34, were selected by convenience sampling and randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups. Spielberger State-Trait Inventory and Cranley Maternal-Fetal Attachment Questionnaire (MFAS) were used for the samples in two sessions before and four weeks after the intervention. In addition to routine care, the experimental group received training in maternal-fetal attachment behaviors based on Iranian-Islamic culture in 8 30-minute sessions over four weeks (two sessions per week) in an individual and face-to-face manner. Data analysis was performed using independent t-test and paired t-test in SPSSv26 software. Results: There was no statistically significant difference in the mean anxiety score of pregnant mothers before the intervention in the two groups (P=0.67). After the intervention, there was a statistically significant difference between the mean and standard deviation of the anxiety score in the two groups (P=0.002). Conclusion: Education on maternal-fetal attachment behaviors based on Iranian-Islamic culture reduced the anxiety of pregnant mothers. Education based on Iranian-Islamic culture provides a basis for strengthening trust and hope in God, and the mother will be more mentally and emotionally calm. It is recommended that health care providers consider this training in the care plan for pregnant mothers.

Abstract:

Background and Objectives: The present study was conducted to present and compile a conceptual model of effective structures in the treatment of death anxiety based on religious texts and assess its validity. Methods: A mixed exploratory research method (quantitative and qualitative) was used. In the qualitative part, collecting texts, the method of semantic fields was used, while qualitative content analysis was applied in the text analysis phase. In the quantitative part of the research, the method of evaluating the opinions of experts was used. Using targeted sampling based on the principle of saturation, 27 related words and 549 religious propositions were collected and analyzed from Islamic sources. Results: Finally, eight themes, 16 categories, and 63 components were extracted. To ensure the compatibility of the findings with the literary content and their applicability in the field of psychology, their validity was investigated based on the opinion of 12 experts by calculating the content validity index (CVI) and the content validity ratio (CVR), and finally, the conceptual model of effective structures in the treatment of death anxiety was drawn in the form of a general schema. Conclusion: The findings of this research provide a suitable platform for the design of intervention therapies and educational packages in this regard
