The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of educational media on the academic achievement and creativity of secondary school students in the Qare-Chai district. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and is semi-experimental in terms of its method, which uses pre-test-post-test design with control group. The diagram below is presented below: The statistical population of this study consisted of 284 secondary school students in Qarehaye district of Kondab city in the academic year of 1998-98. Our sample consisted of 60 secondary school students in the Qare-Chai district of Khondab city in the academic year of 1998-1999 selected randomly and purposefully. Among the sample classes included 3 classes of 20 people. The data were collected using the Torrance Creativity Questionnaire and academic achievement test. Validity of questionnaires through face and content validity; and reliability using Cronbach's alpha for total creativity, fluidity scale, flexibility scale, ingenuity, and elaboration were 87%, 87%, 0. 81, 37% and 70%, respectively. To analyze the data in the descriptive statistics section, frequency, mean and standard deviation were used and inferential statistics were used for multivariate analysis of covariance. Findings of the research showed that there is a significant difference between creativity scores and its components in the pre-test and post-test stages, and there is a significant difference between the scores of academic achievement in the pre-test and post-test stages. Therefore, new technology and elearning can be used to increase creativity and improve students' academic performance.
