Introduction: This study was implemented in order to study the role of neurosis and mindfulness in predicting the quality of life of diabetic patients in Delfan. Methods: The research is a descriptive-correlational study. The study population included all diabetic patients, 945 individuals, in Delfan in second half of year 2015. Accordingly, using Cochran formula, 197 people were selected using simple cluster random sampling. To measure the variables of research, the mindfulness questionnaire (Bauer and colleague, 2006), quality of life questionnaire (WHO, 1996), and NEO questionnaire of neurosis (Casta and Maccarry, 1992) were used. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regressions. Results: The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between mindfulness with quality of life. Also, there is a significant negative relationship between neuroticism with quality of life. Regarding the amount of beta of non-judgment (Beta = 0. 249), neuroticism with beta coefficient (Beta = 0. 588), conscious action with beta coefficient (Beta = 0. 286) and observation with beta coefficient (Beta = 0. 151) are the most powerful variables to predict the quality of life of diabetic patients. Conclusion: According to research findings, it seems that improving the mindfulness in diabetic patients, will increase the quality of life and decrease the neurosis.
