Habrobracon kopetdagi Tobias, 1957 and H. ponticus (Tobias, 1986) are collected from Khuzestan province and recorded for the first time from Iran. In addition, three species (viz., H. crassicornis (Thomson, 1892), H. iranicus Fischer, 1972, H. stabilis (Wesmael, 1838)) are new provincial records. A faunistic list of Iranian Habrobracon species with distribution, host records and brief diagnoses for new recorded species from Iran are provided.

In this survey, 154 bee species of Apoidea superfamily, from the western part of the Isfahan province, Iran were recorded, of which 29 species are new for the fauna of Iran. Among the identified specimens, there were 35 species of Andrenidae, 11 of Apidae, 20 of Colletidae, 50 of Halictidae, 36 of Megachilidae and 2 of Melittidae. All specimens are deposited in the Museum of Iranian Pollinating Insects of Yasouj University, Yasouj, Iran.

Three species of the genus Helionothrips Bagnall, namely Helionothrips cephalicus Hood, H. mube Kudo and H. unitatus Chen were collected and identified for the first time from India. Geographical distribution and diagnostic characters for the newly recorded species and a key to identify all the species of Helionothrips recorded so far from India is also provided.

A survey was carried out on the genus Colotrechnus Thomson, 1878 (Hym., Pteromalidae) in North Eastern (North Khorasan) and South Eastern (Kerman) provinces of Iran. Two species including Colotrechnus subcoeruleus Thomson, 1878 and Colotrechnus viridis (Masi, 1921) were found, of which the first species is newly recorded from Iran. The new findings represent distribution of this genus along a wide area in Eastern provinces of Iran. An illustrated key to known Iranian species, as well as a brief diagnosis for each species are provided. A distribution map throughout the Palaearctic region is also generated and discussed.

A total of seven Dacnusini (Hym., Braconidae, Alysiinae) species are recorded for the first time for Sweden: Antrusa chrysotegula (Tobias, 1986), Aristelix phaenicura (Haliday, 1839), Chorebus (Phaenolexis) caesariatus Griffiths, 1967, Chorebus (Chorebus) scabrifossa Stelfox, 1957, Coelinidea gracilis (Curtis, 1829), Eucoelinidea compressa Tobias, 1979 and Sarops rea Nixon, 1942. Moreover, the genera Aristelix Nixon, 1943, Eucoelinidea Tobias, 1979 and Sarops Nixon, 1942 are thus recorded for the first time in Sweden. Finally, a checklist of the Swedish Dacnusini species is provided.

There is not a comprehensive cheklist on Halictidae family in Iran yet. In this survey, 1179 specimens of the Halictid bees collected from various area of Iran were examined. Among them, we found 78 species of Halictid bees as a major component of the Apoidea fauna in Iran. Herein, a list of the halictid bees, with localities name, geographical coordinations of localities, and number of male and female specimens is provided. Also, distribution of species in Iran, based on the material collected in this study and the worldwide distribution (where applicable) are presented. Five species are recorded for the first time from following provinces, respectively: Lasioglossum (Ctenonomia) vagans (Smith, 1857), from Sistan-o Baluchestan, Halictus (Vestitohalictus) nasica Morawitz, 1876, from Isfahan and Sistan-o Baluchestan, Halictus tetrazoinus (Klug, 1817) from Charmahal-o Bakhtiari, Halictus fatsensis Blü thgen, 1936, from Charmahal-o Bakhtiari, Halictus (Seladonia) fuscicollis Morawitz, 1876, from Sistan-o Baluchestan.
