Abstract: 

This article, based on qualitative and quantitative research studies in Iran, Canada and Sweden attempts to draw attention to career education as a preventive means to unemployment and career dissatisfaction. It compares the career education system (formal and informal) of two western country, Canada and Sweden, with Iran as a middle east country. Neither of these three countries school (formal) career education prepares students to effectively plan for their future career. As a result, to prevent youth from future unemployment or career dissatisfaction, it supports providing students with job-related activities in conjunction with active group guidance and counseling, as a systematic educational workshop, to be taken as a course at the ninth and eleventh grade of schooling.

Abstract: 

In this research sexual training methods of families in Tehran province has - been studied based on crcler model (2000) in three fields: sexual awareness, sexual moral and sexual future. The method of research has been descriptive (survey). 850 families among Tehran province families in 1385 as sample of research have been chosen through cluster random sampling method. The data has gathered through questioner with 48 items. Investigation data in descriptive and Results suggestions that:1- Average of manner of sexual training in Tehran province families in three field sexual awareness, sexual moral and sexual future according to Crcler Model, has been less than the intermediate.2- The highest average in three mentioned level relate to sexual future and less average relate to sexual awareness.

Abstract: 

The propose of this study was to compare effects of group counseling using logotherapy procedure and individual counseling using multimodal therapy procedure on decreasing depression among adults residents in Tehran sanatoriums. Research sample were 90 men and women residents in Tehran sanatoriums. Research instrument was GDS (Geriatric Depression Scale). GDS was administrated to a large number of as the pre-test. Those took 15 score or more randomly selected as 5 experimental groups and 4 control groups. Result indicated that the two procedures have efficiency on decreasing depression among olders that resident in government sanatorums and private sanatorums. The results of post-Test covariance analysis showed that although experimental groups post-test score was lower than pre-test but there was no significant difference between experimental groups and control groups GDS post-test scores. In addition these were no significant difference between effects the two procedures. Results showed that effects of group counseling using logotherapy procedure and individual counseling using multimodal therapy procedure did have efficiency on decreasing depression adult older that resident in Tehran sanatoriums.

Abstract: 

This study attempts to examine the factor structure of Basic Adlerian Scales for Interpersonal Success Adult form (BASIS-A), and providing a reliable instrument to evaluate lifestyle in the Iranian population. Factor analysis was applied to study the inventory 513 subjects (%46.4=male, %53.6=female; %65.5=married, and %34.1=single) aging 18-40 years old (m=29.4; SD=7) were recruited and studied. Findings, showing the Iranian norm for BASIS-A, also displayed the same major factors as the American original version consisting 5 major factors as Wanting Recognition, Going Along, Taking Charge, Being Cautious, and Belonging-Social Interest. The correlation of the minor factors has been analyzed. This study concludes that BASIS-A could be used by the clinicians to get a better understanding about the Iranian clients lifestyle.

Abstract: 

This research has been conducted by the aim of evaluating the effectiveness of group counseling program on confliction relationship among siblings. The sample group was 32 high school students in Mashhad whose age was between 14 to 16 years. Sixteen students were put randomly in experimental groups and 16 others in control group. The experiment group was composed of 8 girls and 8 boys. The hypotheses of the research involved: 1) The effect of group counseling on sibiling conflctual relationships, 2) Conflict-solving tactics was different in participants and non-participants of group counseling. The results of the evaluation of this hypotheses indicated a significant difference (P<2/042) between the average of sample and control groups. The results of the second hypothesis the evaluations of this was also significantly different in using different methods of conflict-solving tactics (P<7131) in control and experiment group. Fallowing group counseling session, Use of verbal reasoning has had a significantly increased (P<6/53), while using verbal and physical aggression (P < -8131) had significantly decrease.

Abstract: 

Aim: The main objective of this study is comparison of effects of two approaches cognitive group therapy (CGT) and spiritual therapy (SGT) among female depressed students of Tehran Universities.Method: The sample of the study 24 girl's students randomly selected through advertisement form in Hesarak Tarbiat Moallem University and Shahid Beheshty. Their depression was measured with Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Psychiatric Interview. Then they divided to three groups randomly: 2 experimental group and one control group, none of the subjects was using drugs before any therapeutic intervention.The First group Participant in Ten Sessions Cognitive group Therapy and The second group participated in 10 session group therapy but with spiritual therapy approaches.The Third group had no Psychotherapeutic intervention as control group after group therapy the BDI Test was administrated then the data was analyzed t test to compare the 3 group means.Results show that the cognitive group therapy and spiritual group therapy were effective significantly (P<0/01) in reduction of depression although spiritual group therapy was more effective than cognitive group therapy but the difference was not significant.Conclusion: Both CGT and SCGT was effective in reduction of depression of girl students.

Abstract: 

This research compares hardiness and job satisfaction between Members of academic board and school teachers. One of the main goals of this research was to determine the relationship between hardiness and job satisfaction and compare the results of it among members of academic board and school teachers. The sample of this research was a total of 100, 50 members of academic board and 50 school teachers. The method of sampling was simple randomizing. To measure hardiness kobasa personal perspective survey was used and to measure job satisfaction Daives lofcosit and wais job satisfaction test were used. The hypothesis of research was tested using statistical methods of correlation coefficient and t test. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between hardiness and job satisfaction in both groups (P<0/01). There was no significant difference between the job satisfaction of members of academic board and school teachers. There is significant difference between the hardiness of members of academic board and school teachers (P<0/05). Also result of research showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between components of hardiness (commitment control, challenge) and job satisfaction between members of academic board. But no significant relationship among challenge and job satisfaction was observed between school teachers. To predict job satisfaction based on components of hardiness, step by regression analysis was used and the result showed that the component of commitment explained about 23% of job satisfaction variance.
