Abstract: 

In this work the binding abilities of 1,3-calix [4]-bis-crown-6 (BC6) toward Cs+ in 10% water and 90% Acetonitrile mixture determined by spectrophotometric measurements, using Data Fit computer program (nonlinear regression method). All measurements were performed at 25°C and in a fixed ionic strength 0.01 mol L-3 tetramethyl-ammonium chloride and stability constant for 1:1 complex has been estimated.

Abstract: 

Unsaturated Polyester resin can be used in fiberglass industries. These resins are linear polymers that are changed to cross links polymers with a radical - addition reaciton. Unsaturated polyester resins are producted in five different processes. Two of these, are continuous methods. In these methods, reactant materials are transfered into system with a controlled rate, at the same time, producted resins are taken out from the system. Three of these, are "Batching Methods" which reactant materials are transfered in system at once, Arbor esterification reaction, productal resins are out from system. In laboratory, unsaturated polyester resins are producted in two hatching processes, (Fusion and Solvent) and as a result, ii1 order commercial used, fusion process is selected, After succeeding in laboratory scale, the production of resin was done in pilot scale, by fusion process

Abstract: 

The effect of histamine on learning and memory is a controversial issue. In this project, the effect of histamine and it’s antagonists, chlorpheniramine and ranitidine on memory retention is studied by passive avoidance task and step-through latency (STL) are measured. The results show that histamine (5, 10, 20 pg/rat) decreases and chlorpheniramine (0.1, 1, 10 µg/rat) increases memory rerention in rats. Ranitidine (0.1, 1, 10, 20 µg/rat) has no effect on this process. The effect of histamine on memory retention is not blocked by the administration of ranitidine. However, administration of chlorpheniramine completely counteracted the histamine effects. Concluding the data analysis demonstration that histamine act on memory retention by activation of H1- histamine receptors but not through H2- histamine receptors.

Abstract: 

Three cultivars of ground nut (Arachis hypogaea) NC2, Yugoslavian and Gillan .local were treated with magnetic of-20 and 40 gausses. During 200 hours, growth parameters such as seed weight, root length, hypocotyl length and number of root hair were measured and compared with control plants: The charts of growth parameters in terms of time. and macroscopic photographs of different steps of growth showed: During qualitative changes such as germination, the rate of change in seed weight decreases or stops. But magnetic field accelerates these qualitative changes. It increases root length and number of root hair considerably. In presence of magnetic field, Gillan cultivar is influenced the most and the yugoslavian cultivar least. In magnetic field of 20 gausses, the mentioned changes were more coordinated and had less deviation. These results can be used in accelerating the seed growth, encoraging the growth of roots and root hairs.

Abstract: 

From accurate study of about 500 samples from two stratigraphic sections of middle Cretaceous sediments in Izeh regions of Khuzestan province (Tang-e-Ghili & Tang-e-Soltani), various index foraminifers of species and genera of middle Cretaceous were determined. Foraminifers associations of lower Cenomanian of middle and upper Cretaceous have presented an accurate biostratigraphy. In addition to the study of genera and species of foraminifers and their associations in each sample (Thin section), the whole components of microfacies including orthochemicals and allochemicals were verified. With regard to these dements and their abundance, Folk and Dunham calssification of microfacies were exerted. As a consequence, different types of the above-mentioned microfacies from the studied stratigraphic sections were compared with the Wilson Model (1974). During the study of stratigraphic distribution of index foraminifers, the following conditions were clarified: -In Albian of Tang-e-Ghili and Tang-e-Soltani. Sahaudia minuta -In early Cenomanian: Ovalveolina crassa, Peneroplis parvus, Rabanitina basraensis -In middle Cenomanian: Chrysalidina gradata, Pseudolituonella reicheli, Ovalveolina ovum. -In late Cenomanian: Pseudorhipidionia casertana, Cisalveolina fraasi, ReticuIinella sp. Microfauna association of foraminifers in middle Cretaceous were exhibited in the stratigraphic distribution tables.

Abstract: 

Clay minerals spectrum of Chandab basin from abundance following: Crronsite %46.67, Illite %40, Montmorionite %13.33. There is cholorite in the subbasines (1-1-1, 1-1-2, 1-1-3) by reason of abundance of Fe minerals-which is from kind of Segonflant. Mix mineral Corronsite (make from Chlorite and smectite) therefore abundance of Mg in the pyroclastic rocks which exist in subbasines (1-1-3, 1-1-2). Because of reduce Fe consistency along Chandab basin which reduced from Segonflant mineral and increased Corronsite mineral. About %60 from basin clay minerals have high expansive and in period of time which make. argilite zone and reduce soil capilarity. According to study on clay soil basin, it suitable for making the brick.

Abstract: 

Molataleh region is Situated north of aligudarz and juxtaposed to The Zagros Thrust. The activities reverse Faults and the main zagros fault, induced The exposures of precambrian, Upper precambrian- Lower cambrian, triassic and jurassic Metamorphic complex. The effects of various metamorphic eposides at times can be Observed on these rocks. Following The Laramian Orogeny, The intrusive granitoid mass, affected the metamorphic rocks of the region. The lithological composition is mainly composed of granite, granodiorite and Monzogranite. The Mineralogical, Lithogical, and geochemical Studies along With field observation indicate the molataleb granitodic mass is "s Type" and palingenetic granitoides. The tectonic discrimination diagrams Showed that the granitoid mass is of post-Orogenic Type. Additionally, regarding the geochemical affinities With other granitioids of adjacent (Borujerd, Hamadan, Buin-Mianadasht and others), They have been injected after the Laramian orogeny.

Abstract: 

Measurment of loca coefficients of ions and impurities, is one of the most important tools in plasma physics researches. Specially in tokamaks, this measurment in the first step of any other studies. One of the best techniques for evaluating the diffusion profile, is the study of transport theory. The study of intensity profile of impurities in IR-TI tokamak shows that, the tnansport of impurities in this tokamak, is neo-classical and in phfirsch - schluter regim. In this paper we study how to evaluate the diffusion coefficients in this regim.

Abstract: 

This paper presents a new approach for tuning PID controller parameters in the control of nonlinear systems. The desing is based on optimal traching of step response for nonlinear systems. The problem is first restated as a non linear optimal control infinite horizon Problem, then with a suitable change of Variable, the time interval is transfered to the finite horizon [0,l). This change of variable, poses a time varying problem. This problem is then transfered to measure space, and it is shown that an optimal measure must be determined which is equivalent to a linear programming problem with infinite dimension. Then, using finite horizon approximations, the optimal control law as a piece wise constant function is determined. Finally, PID controller parameters are determined using the optimal control law. Simulation are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.

Abstract: 

A novel method was described for the solvent extraction of palladium. 2,2´ dithiodianiline (DA) in low concentration in methyl isobutyl keton extracts palladium from aqueous solution. The Complex was extracted from an acidic aqueous solution into a methyl isobutyl keton layer. The absorbance was measured at 397nm and molar absorptivity found to he 1.46 106 mol-1 lit cm-1. The complex BA-Pd conforms to beer"s law over the range of 0.3-200 µg 1-1, The effect of pH concentration of DA, shaking time and the effectsof some matrix elements, such as, Ca, Hg, Ni, Cd, Ag, Cr, Mn and Pt on the extraction of palladium were investigated. The ratio of metal ion ligand was 1:1. The results obtained were compared by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy and a good agreement was found between the results.
