The present paper is concerned with some traditions indicating the alteration of the Holy Quran. These traditions, found in old Shiite haith- and tafsir-oriented texts, have been ascribed to infallible Imams, peace be upon them.Utilizing these traditions as an exegetical explanation for understanding the verses of the Holy Quran, Shaykh Tusi rejects the doctrine of Alteration of the Holy Quran explicitly for the first time in his tafsir. Shaykh Tusi's method of utilizing these traditions in Tafsir al-Tibyan provoked his followers (like Tabarsi) to mention these traditions along side with traditions concerning the different reading which have been attributed to infallible Imams and in line with other readings of mashhur and shadh readers.

In spite of the fact that majority of Muslims, relying on religious and rational evidences, have a negative outlook toward hadith falsification and attributing false words and deeds to the Infallible Imams, peace be upon them, however their hadith sources show that they did not regard it seriously.The author of the present paper classifies the hadith forgers into two groups, one group are those who forge hadith with worldly purposes and the second group are those who do this with religious purposes and investigates their evidences.He also explains about some concepts concerning the phenomenon of forging hadith such as: definition of forged hadith; religious judgment on forging hadith; evidences of those who are in favor of forging hadith including good intention, guiding people, and administering justice.

The issue of Islamic Nations' homogeneity with previous nations is of those issues which both Shiite and Sunni have agreed upon. Hence there is little debate concerning its origin and reasons. But misunderstanding its nature and content has caused some deviation in religious studies.Verifying some hadiths and other related evidences, the writer of this research deals with the content of hadiths and nature of this issue.

Ahmad bn Ali Najashi proficient at rijal science and the author of the first and most important Shiite rijal work namely Fihrist Asmai Musannaf al-Shiah (or al-Najashi's rijal).Although the authors aim was to list Shiite works and books, however there are useful information about the compilers of books, their classes, their race and genealogies and finally their academic status and authenticity of their works.Studying and evaluating the method used by Najashi in investigating rijal the author of this paper tries to display his proficiency at rijal science and his systematic method in his great book fihrist.

Narrators whose names are the same are always found in chain of authorities of Shiite and Sunni hadiths. To distinguish them from each other, we should study, research and compile historical evidences and documents.Ghyath bn Ibrahim is one of those narrators whose name is found in both Shiite and Sunni rijal books and has been described with different qualities. Hence some consider this name to be the name of two different narrators.While investigating chain of authorities in Sunni hadith books, this question would come up if this narrator is the same narrator in chain of authorities of Shiite hadith books or not? The present paper tries to answer this question and finally concludes that Ghiyath bn Ibrahim in both chain of authorities are one.

In recent decades some Muslim or Western scholars have criticized the method used by Goldziher and Schacht in their investigation of jurisprudential traditions.The author of the present paper with a traditional and historical approach tries to restore the lost validity of the chain of authorities concerning jurisprudential traditions.Reviewing the traditions of Abdurrazzaq Sanani's Musannaf and studying his sources and teachers, the author concludes that jurisprudential tradition's chains of authorities of old haith texts are more valid than the picture depicted by Goldziher and Schacht's theories.

Many traditions concerning the Occultation of the last Imam of the Twelver Shiite have been entered into the Shiite hadith collections and some compilers have compiled them into books.Shaykh Tusi is one of these compilers who has written a book under the title of al-Ghaybah. Pointing to different aspect the book, the author of the present paper tries to give a lengthy account of it.

Introducing Ibrahim bn Ali bn Hasan Kafami and his works, the author of this article tries to represent Kafami's efforts on Sahifa al-Sajjadiah.Displaying Kafami's manuscript of Sahifa al-Sajjadiah; studding some characteristics of the abovementioned book Such as document of Sahifah, numbers of supplications and thcir titlcs and also Kafami's commentary on Sahifah are of the issues which in this article is dealt with.
