Abstract

Many community‐oriented police organizations throughout the world benefit from a scientific four‐strep method known as SARA. The present study aims at evaluating the process of decision making of the superintendents who use SARA. Using questionnaire the required data were collected from 82 superintendents. The results show that the superintendents benefit from their experiences and knowledge to identify, analyze, and respond to the problems. The data obtained from the police amergency center were the focus of the superintendents in SARA.
