Abstract

Disseminated TB refers to simultaneous involvement of multiple organs like pleura, peritoneum, and Meninges. TB PERITONITIS manifests itself as serous form with an exudative fluid usually containing 500-300 cells d lymphocyte is typically predominant. The patient was a 19 - year - old Afghan woman who referred to the hospital with ACUTE ABDOMEN.
Analysis of peritoneal fluid showed 50,000cells with 95% PMNS. Smear and culture for mycobacteria were positive. The patient was under antituberculsis drug treatment and she didn"t have any problem after 10 months.
