Abstract

Wagons are one of The Valuables Assets in Railway Networks. Boosting Trade Speed which caused by Exact Wagon Tracking, In One Hand Acquire Customer Satisfaction in Supply Chain and in Other Hand Result in Decreasing Capital Cost and Increasing Productivity then Finally Make Railways Investment justified. We Aim to introducing The Current Procedure in Fleet Tracing, Advantage and Disadvantage of Each Methods, Calculate the Cost and Effect of Humane Errors, Necessity of Implementing Modern Methods for Wagon Tracking and Eventually Determine the Best System of Wagon Tracing in IRI Railway Network by means of Concordance Analysis Approach. For This Purpose, We measured Five Options in Twelve Criteria’s. It is Necessary to Mention that This Research in Context of Automatic Wagon Identification is Novel in the Country and yet not to be done. The Output of The Study Show That Installing the GPS Module on Each Wagon is the Best Method for Wagon Automatic Identification in Iran Railway Network.
