Abstract

At the beginning, this study presents a short foreword on the existing status and significance of MORALITY and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY and the relationship between them, and then the key words and their definitions are introduced.Then, a brief report on various theories related to MORALITY philosophy and their relationship to the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is discussed. Finally, the relationship between Islamic MORALITY philosophy and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is Presented. This study points out that the moral behavior of people based on Islamic moral principles are considered as internal behaviors; consequently MORALITY in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY must be internalized in the people and force, regulations, and punishment are not appropriate tools for making people observe the MORALITY in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.
