Abstract

The formation of institutions appropriate with cultural, social and economic circumstances, one strong and effective instrument to accelerate the renewal process to deteriorated urban textures. In Iran, renewal FACILITATION OFFICES were launched in order to expedite and facilitate in this textures. It is expected that this office with an emphasis on participatory approach and empowerment of residents to deteriorated tissues play an important function in this context. This study aimed to evaluation and measurement Functions of FACILITATION OFFICES in the renewal deteriorated urban textures in Area 4 on Region 11 of Tehran Municipality. This study, according to aim is applied – developmental research and according to work method is descriptive – analytical. The method for collection of data required is combination of both field studies and documental methods. The study statistical population included local residents, renewal experts and officials of deteriorated urban textures under study that with using of Cochran Test 320 subjects was determined. Information collected with using the VIKOR MODEL and Excel and Spss software, were processed and analyzed. The results of research show that the ANBAR NAFT neighborhood is placed with weight (0.932) in first rank and RAHA-AHAN neighborhood with the amount of weight (0.023) in last rank.
