Abstract

GEOMORPHOLOGY of Karsts study Geomorphologic characteristics of karsts terrane and soluble rocks and recount effective parameters on evolution of these landscapes. This region has been placed in a part of Zagros Mountain Range in south of NAHAVAND small province with an area of 76.78 Km2. The direction of CARBONATE ROCKS and thick layer limestone are main part of this region that have been precipitated in Jurassic, early cretaceous, and have been placed more in Geomorphologic unit of mountain. Presence of extensive soluble formations about 90 percent of the region where has high solubility potential with suitable climate demonstrate good enough necessity for recognition of karstic GEOMORPHOLOGY in this region.Gamasiab karstic spring, GAMASIAB cave and specially lapis are good examples for these kinds of karstic landscapes that LAPIEs are one of the are one of the most important karstic features in this region as a result of considerable spreading and varied features such as rail-shape, linear shape and parallel & …. therefore LAPIEs have been studied statistically so that main processes responsible to formation of karstic features specially LAPIEs and their relationswith other variables such as height slope, geological formations, and investigatedto various parameters arewith other variables such as geological formations, and investigated. Conclusions of these studies demonstrated that LAPIEs are more in most top layer with slope about 54-130 percent and in height of 3000-3400 meter in southwest that geological formation consist of shale, sand and carbonate limestone is predominant and are posed in 1-2 degree iso-thermal curve and is co-value with 699-773 mm in precipitation classification.
