Abstract

The participation of women in all aspects of economic life is one of the main factors contributing to the achievement of rural economic sustainable development and is of fundamental significance. To this end, the present study explores the role of ENTREPRENEUR WOMEN in developing rural economy in KHORMOR RURAL DISTRICT IN TOYSERKAN. The needed data were collected through questionnaire and field studies for 20 villages of KHORMOR RURAL DISTRICT IN TOYSERKAN and were analyzed using a descriptive-analytical methodology through Spearman test. The results of field studies and the assessment of indices under analysis indicated the participation of women in the economic development of the region under study improved employment, income generation, investment, and development of facilities. However, such participation did not followed by reinforcing the local economy, and long-term economic diversification in the region under study.
