Title

Investigating the Effectiveness of Experiential Schema Therapy Techniques on Resilience, Acceptance and Commitment, and Social Anxiety in Women with Addicted Spouses

Abstract

 The research was carried out with the aim of "investigating the effect of experimental schema therapy techniques on resilience, acceptance and commitment on the social anxiety of women with spouses involved in addiction". Then the test was conducted with the control group in the field. The statistical population included women with spouses involved in addiction and covered by the welfare organization. To select a sample size of 36 people in two groups of 18 people in a purposeful and non-probable way and implement schema therapy in one of them (experimental group). Connor and Davidson's resilience scale (2003), Bund et al.'s acceptance questionnaire (2007) and social phobia/social anxiety test were used to collect data. The protocol of schema therapy sessions for the experimental group was implemented in 12 sessions of 90 minutes. The method of data analysis was through descriptive statistics and inferential statistics of multivariate and univariate analysis of covariance tests, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used.The results indicate that there is a significant difference between the variables of resilience, acceptance and commitment and social anxiety between the two experimental and control groups. Empirical schema therapy techniques have an effect on resilience, acceptance and commitment, and social anxiety of women with spouses involved in addiction.
