Title

Comparing the Performance of Male and Female Athletes in Adaptive Time Prediction and Cognitive Performance at the Same Time in Two Difficult and Easy Levels (Study Case: Imam Hassan Mojtabi Police Officers University

Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to compare the performance of male and female athletes on Adaptive time prediction and simultaneously performing a cognitive task in two difficult and easy levels. The current research method is semi-experimental with two experimental groups. The statistical population of this research was formed by two groups of young women (age range 18-25 years) and young men (age range 18-25 years) of the University of Officer and Police Training, from among whom 16 people were selected as available. The tool used in the research is the adaptive predictive scheduling device (ATC). The test includes the implementation of an adaptive prediction timing task in a block of ten attempts and the simultaneous implementation of a secondary cognitive task (countdown in two difficult and easy levels). At the end, the average absolute error of the person is measured. The statistical method of research is independent T and paired T, which data analysis was done using SPSS version 24 software. The results of the research showed that there is no significant difference between the two groups of boys and girls, in addition, there is no significant difference between the results of hard boys with an average of 0.45 and easy boys with an average of 0.35, and also hard girls with an average of 6963. 0 of the easy-girls with an average of 0.4250 had a weaker performance.
