Abstract

Maritime industry is one of the most dangerous industries and individuals involved in it are very accident prone. In the recent years, health, safety, and environmental issues have considered by a new approach. By this approach, organizations have aimed to prepare a master plan in order to organize a strategic action.This paper considers the necessity of HSE strategic planning with regard to worldwide HSE strategies. Assessing the countries and external and internal organizations showed that organizations begin to consider HSE by a strategic approach and most of the World Class organizations have prepared a HSE strategic management program and aligned their activities along with it.
