Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between PARENTING STYLES including authoritarian, authoritative and permissive styles) and child behavioural disorder that have conceptualized as EXTERNALIZING symptoms (aggressive and ROLE BROKEN behaviour).273 mothers of 7-9 years old boys fro-m primary schools participated in this study.Results indicated that permissive parenting style had significant positive correlation with EXTERNALIZING symptoms. In contrast, authoritative style had significant negative correlation with this symptoms. No relation was found between authoritarian parenting style and EXTERNALIZING symptoms.
