Abstract

This study accomplished to determine the role of FAMILY FUNCTION DIMENSIONS in utilization of COPING STRATEGIES by patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Participants were 94 patients with MS selected randomly from those who referred to Health Office of Tehran Medical Sciences University during 1 month to recievce medicine prescription.Family Assessment Device and COPING STRATEGIES Questionnaire were completed by participants.It was found that functional dimensions contribute to coping strategues according to regression analyses. Results indicated that "problem solving", "affectttive involvement", and "behavior control" had the highest significant association with utilized COPING STRATEGIES and could predict them.
