Abstract

 This research is a case study of identifying and ranking of effective STRUCTURAL FACTORS on developing ACADEMIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP at the UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Iran. STRUCTURAL FACTORS are organizational components which are joined with special discipline and shape organization physique. This paper main question is: what are affective STRUCTURAL FACTORS in Developing ACADEMIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP? The respondents sampled from the staff of UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, experts that are involved in entrepreneurship promotion, in education, in technology transfer activities or are in charge of university-industry relations.Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. Semi structure interview was chosen for gathering data in qualitative section and a questionnaire based on result of that used for gathering quantitative data. We used both Chi-Square and Freidman tests. Nine structural dimensions were examined and some factors were considered. The final framework is supported by structural equation model. Twenty five STRUCTURAL FACTORS in 9 dimensions recognized that not all variables have same weight. Results show organizational factors are most important and assessment system factors have least importance.
