Abstract

This article deals with the effect of Gharar in Contracts. Gharar means a contract with some risk and ignorance unknown to the parties involved. In Islamic law it is a contract when the subject of the contracts undeliverable or unknown for each of the parts. The contract is called Gharary. Gharary contracts void in both Islamic and Iranian law.
