Abstract

The present research studies the relationship between ATTACHMENT STYLES and emotional abilities, and attempts to predict those abilities through ATTACHMENT STYLES. Using a simple random sampling method, it was chosen 108 participants including 65 females and 43 males students of Psychology and Education Faculty at Tarbiat Moallem University. For the research instrument, it was conducted Adult ATTACHMENT STYLES (AAS) scale and TRAIT META MOOD scale (TMMS). The results showed that secure attachment has a positive relationship with clarify and repairment or emotional management, but, unsecure and ambivalent ATTACHMENT STYLES have a reverse relationship with both clarify and emotional ATTACHMENT STYLES would predict emotional abilities. repairment.
