THE IMPACT OF (NLP) TRAINING STRATEGIES ON ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AMONG FEMALE STUDENTS

Abstract

 The main aim of this study is investigate the effect of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Program) on the ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION and ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT among girl students.Participants include 56 female high' school' student (aged 15 to 16 years old). All subjects were randomly divided in tow sub-groups (28 as experimental group and 28 as control group).The Hermans' ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION Questionnaire (HAMQ) was used in pre and post tests. Then Experimental group had received 18 weekly sessions NLP program (such as dealing with goal setting, time management, assertiveness skills, representational systems and neurological levels).One week after treatment, all subjects in both groups answer to the same measures as second post test.Also, the participants' grade point average from the first and the second academic terms were used to consider the academic performance.Data were analyzed through (ANCOVA) analysis. The results have shown a significant difference between the pre and post-test scores of ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION for the experimental group.The findings of this study are in line with those of previous studies such as Ehteshami Tabar et al. (1384).
