Abstract

Background and Objectives: The objective of the present research is determining the level of the role of MANAGERIAL STRATEGIES in empowering managers..Method: The data were gathered from 1012 senior, middle and operational managers of one of the organizations located in capitals of provinces and 13 towns in Iran. Samples were selected through cluster and regular random sampling. The data were collected through self made questionnaire; its validity approved by professors and experts active in the EMPOWERMENT realm and; its validity determined after its trial performance (a=0.892). Data analyzed through using mean, standard deviation, Kolmogrov-Smirnov test, Friedman test and Kruskal-Wallis test.Findings: The results of the research Indicated that the factors "resources logistics" and "structure" have had the most and the least impact, while taking into consideration the MANAGERIAL STRATEGIES.Conclusion: Ranking the MANAGERIAL STRATEGIES contributing to MANAGERS' EMPOWERMENT includes resources' logistics, role transparency, reward, support, performance, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, LEADERSHIP STYLE and STRUCTURE.
