Abstract

Impacts of tourism and tourist are one of the concerns of the geographers. One of the effects of expending leisure times in to build SECOND HOMES rural areas. This study aims at exploring behaviors and TYPOLOGY of TOURISTS and structural and social effects of their activities on the host environments. In this descriptive - analytic study we used existing data and also conducted semi structured interviews with native people and second home owners in Roodbar Ghasran, a rural area near the Tehran city, Metropolitan; which is a main destination for SECOND HOMES of Tehran residents. The result of study shows that residents of SECOND HOMES, action, belonging to three decades ago, had less negative impact them recent SECOND HOMES owners.
