Abstract

In recent years, OUTSOURCING has grown and causes flexibility and dynamically of firms in competitive environment. One of the most important rationales of OUTSOURCING is increment of pressures which overlaid on firms by competitive forces. Because of information system's role in competitive advantage acquisition, most firms outsource it in order to reach advanced and new technologies. Also, according to importance of IT firms in development of county and their immaturity, OUTSOURCING can be a solution for promotion of their performance. So, it is necessary to procreate different incentives of OUTSOURCING and improve firm's performance to manage OUTSOURCING relationships. The purpose of this paper is to identify and rank different incentives of INFORMATION SYSTEMS OUTSOURCING and to specify DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS of IS OUTSOURCING in Iranian IT firms. The results of this research which is done for Tehran's IT firms, illustrate differences among importance of each IS OUTSOURCING incentives and solutions.
