Abstract

URBAN ECONOMY and its role in economic growth, Its relationship with other sectors and economic activities, Study of Urban Economics and relationship with economic growth It is made of special importance. this study try The effects of changes in the URBAN ECONOMY, residential and non-residential sectors on economic growth using econometrics techniques and using auto regressive distributed Lag for Iran. Following this, using granger causality analysis, this paper examines the interaction between Residential and non-residential sectors and approach and quarterly data in Iran. Therefore, this research finds significant and positive relationship between growth RESIDENTIAL SECTOR and economic growth in short run and long run in Iran. Result of granger causality approach showed in the long term development of components of the URBAN ECONOMY has positive effects on economic growth in Iran.
